I couldn’t contain my excitement. It was unbearable, enthralling and enchanting. I was brilliant and undefeatable, and the fact that no one would suspect me was absolutely amazing.

The night before after I killed off everybody, I took out all of their personal belongings and took all of their cash and jewels. Other minorities like cell phones and credit cards were added to the pile of items that were going to be burnt. The next part wasn't so enjoyable due to the fact that I had loads of extra work to do, and it didn’t help that Bane was out of the country doing god knows what. I had originally planned for him to help me sever off the heads of my victims and send them to the police station, but of course I had to do it all by myself. I went to bed around four in the morning, but it was worth it.

Now, I was sitting in the main hall of the University I am attending. Surrounding me are several college students, looking terrified out of their minds as officers were interrogating any likely student. I hid my grin as much as I could, but it was difficult do to the fact that I seriously wanted to parade my artwork the night before. The exhaustion was worth it, and played a good part in case I was interrogated. Officers and detectives often looked at facial expressions to determine whether the suspect was guilty or not. The bags under my eyes proved that I was innocent, with the help of my amnesia.

“Why are the police interrogating the students?” I heard a girl a few feet away from me ask. “Isn't this illegal, or something?” I silently laughed, wanting so terribly to reveal that it was me to see their reactions. I kept silent instead, watching everything with observant eyes and decided to respond to the girl.

“It should be illegal,” I commented, urging fear and worry into my tone. “What college student would be responsible for something so serious that the whole police had to come?”

The girl nodded eagerly and faced her male friend. “I wonder what it is,” she whispered. “Who do you think it was? It must be someone here, since theres so many officers patrolling and keeping guard.” I turned around and dropped my school bag on the table, taking out my laptop for distraction purposes all while intently listening to the boys response. “I have no idea who it could be.” Good.

“Perhaps we should research what happened?” I said and turned towards the school website as both the girl and the boy leaned over and watched as I researched the schools website. It didn’t say nothing useful so I opened another tab and typed in daily news. Like I had expected, there was two recent articles that appeared on the results page and I clicked on the first one, beginning to read what the press had gotten so far.

“A few hours ago at Decint County in New York City, officers received two black bags filled with limbs of several civilians that seemed to have died several hours earlier. Officials haven’t released a statement yet, but they have started interrogating college students in Rye University for any leads.” I read aloud with mock disgust.

Under the small paragraph were several photos of Decint County and officers heading in and out of the front doors. Many of the faces were distraught and pale and I had to forcibly bite my lip to keep the simper from growing, accidentally drawing blood.

“That is so sick,” The boy beside me muttered. “I don’t get why they would suspect college students for this massacre. I think it was the guy that killed those people with a gun right in public for no reason.”
