I briefly wondered if it was all worth it. For a few seconds, I sat in the parking lot of the hospital, wondering if the risks I was taking just to prove a point about life and society was truly worth it. Did it really matter if Lynn and the world knew of my actions? Maybe, maybe not. In a split second, I had decided. I didn't know why I had even doubted myself in the first place. Of course it was all worth it. If it wasn't then why was I doing this in the first place?

I jammed the key into the ignition and pulled out of the hospital parking lot, not having a destination in mind. I was so sure that my plan would run smoothly but I hadn't taken any consideration if Jacob would be there or not. That was one of my huge flaws, and a part of that was because Bona wasn't here. Why was he in Dublin in the first place? He was supposed to be the person beside me, literally my partner in crime. I blame him for what happened.

I dialed his number using the prepaid cell phone. "This is Bane."

"Something happened," I said, placing the phone on speaker and on my lap. "I was planning to kidnap Lynn while she was in the hospital but Jacob burst into the room. I shot him three times, I think, and I'm not sure if he is alive or not. I left before they could catch me but I'm not sure what to do next. Everybody that saw me needs to die, including Jacob."

I heard him audibly sigh. "How do you get yourself into these situations, Lux? I've only been gone for a few days and you've already managed to cause so much trouble."

"Trouble with reason," I pointed out, frowning while gritting my teeth. I think I will always hate it when Bane pointed out the truth. Who enjoys a slap of reality anyways? "The rational thing to do would be to send a hit out on Lynn and her family and close friends; it's the easiest option but I don't want to do that. You knew from the start and you know right now that I am not going to take the easy way out. So tell me, what should I do?"

There was some shuffling. "Send a hit out on the people that saw your face. At this point, they're irrelevant when you think about the bigger plan. Destroy the footage and stay low for a while, at least until Lynn heals. By now, she must have an inkling that you were somehow involved, so play innocent like you've been doing so far. Jacob is going to be a problem, though. Someone must have noticed what happened so you need to delete the footage ASAP. Depending on his condition, he will either be in a coma or dead. If he is in a coma, comfort Lynn, get closer to her, and get her to trust you, even if it is little. If he's dead, you have to kidnap her and finish what you've started. Are you ready for all of this?"

I smirked, feeling the miniscule worry vanish from the pit in my stomach. "I was born ready, Bane. When are you returning from Dublin?"

"Not for a while," He replied, incoherent voices murmuring in the background. "Think you can handle everything there by yourself for a while?"

"Of course," I ended the call and threw the phone in the backseat. My destination was back to the hospital so I could erase the footage. Then... I call some of Bane's old friends and offer them a price for killing a number of people.

I had a plan, and hopefully it will run smoothly. I made a U-Turn and sped to the hospital, hoping that the cops hadn't arrived yet.
