The date commenced the following morning at the ice rink.

"AIIISSH Why do I have to do this just to get back my book?!" she grumbled.

She sat down at the benches as she watched Sung Jae play Ice Hockey with his fellow friends. It was really cold at the rink and she was only wearing a casual maxi dress. She was shivering just a little bit.

During the break Sung Jae noticed that and brought her his jacket and a warm cup of hot chocolate. She was surprised but touched by his kind gesture. She then calmly asked for her book back, hoping that he'd return it by the end of the 'date'.

"Why are you so eager?" he asked. "The reason why I asked you out today was to apologise for my actions. The whole bus issue, the fish and your precious time."

Sooyoung was slightly taken aback by his words. She responded gently,

"It's alright. Since you have the heart, I accept your apology. The fact that you apologised tells me you are not such a bad person after all."

They came into mutual understanding and introduced themselves again formally. While they were talking, everyone else had already left the rink, leaving them both.

Sung Jae then asked her if she wanted to try skating and she agreed. He then brought her some skating shoes, put it on for her and gently led her into the skating rink.

Hand in hand, they skated in circles and shared a pure moment of laughter and trust. They shared some jokes together and at that moment, Sung Jae stopped, grabbed her waist, pulled her in and kissed her on the lips. He then pulled out his phone from his pocket and captured a picture of the kiss for receipts.

The kiss was then interrupted by Min Jae's fist blow. "GET AWAY FROM HER YOU ASSHOLE!"

He overheard one of Sung Jae's friends' conversation and knew all about the bet he was trying to make.

"Sooyoung-ah! DON'T TRUST HIM!" he exclaimed and told Sooyoung everything.

She was shocked and hurt, of course. After that moment they just shared? She could feel her stomach churn in anger.

She isn't going to let anyone play her around like this. She's got enough going on in her life.

She then got a hold of herself and retorted with a lie,

"Min Jae-ah, you should've came later. Didn't you hear that I made a bet as well? That this douche right here will kiss me within a week." Turning back to Sung Jae, she said, "As long as I succeed, people will buy my bento boxes for a whole month."

Sung Jae couldn't believe what he just heard. He was infuriated and in disbelief.

"What. did you.. say? WOW I can't believe you. You seemed so innocent and upright but you just bent your principles to get more money?! What kind of girl are you?"

Sooyoung tried to look all tough but she was almost losing it. "The game's over. Just leave me alone now," she walked away with Min Jae strutting beside her, leaving Sung Jae in his own wrath.
