Few days passed and the 'incident' has become a big thing at campus because some student hacked into the system's camera and leaked pictures of it. Sung Jae assumed it was Rose. Only she was capable of doing such things. The University wanted to sort it out by holding a small trial at campus.

Sung Jae visited Soo Young at her temporary home. He asked her if she was okay about going to the hearing tomorrow. Sung Jae, together with his lawyer, AND Min Jae (ironically), has already prepared all the information for it.

Soo Young told Sung Jae that she was afraid that if they were to lose, she would feel bad for letting the people who have helped her so much down.

She then added,

"This is the first time I felt protected. The first time I felt like I was respected. Thank you."

Sung Jae smiled and teased her that she should repay him with something if they won. She then promised that she would cook him her specialty, Kimchi fried rice with a bunch of side dishes, in which he gladly approved.

When morning came, the battle for justice started. Hand-in-hand, Sung Jae and Soo Young headed to the University's courthouse. Soo young's perverted uncle was also prepared to leave for the trial. He still believed that he could sue the University and Sung Jae for beating him up. He too, got himself a little 'lawyer' with him. The dude, named Seowon, hated Sung Jae so much because he felt that Sung Jae always took his spotlight in law class. One of the reasons why he wanted to help Mr. Pervert win the case.

One by one, witnesses and spectators filled the room.

The first to testify was the soft-shell turtle vendor. She recalled the time Soo Young and her uncle came to the store then confidently told the jury that any sharp-eyed person could tell that guy was trying to make moves on the poor girl. The witness' testimony is however not as useful, because the opposition (Seowon) used despicable means to show the spectators that the witness was just paranoid.

The testimony went on, some added to Soo Young's advantage, some don't.

There were rebuttals back and forth to the point where Sung Jae couldn't stand it anymore. Seowon then asked Soo Young to provide a person whom she has no relations to, to prove her innocence.

Sung Jae, who was beyond pissed, stood up and claimed loudly that he could prove it.

He walked to the center of the courtroom then told the people how Soo Young has influenced him. He stated that he doesn't care anymore, what everyone thinks of him. The old him would never be standing here, at a hearing, trying to defend someone. He talked about how Soo Young suffered and braved through harassment for so long and still maintained a strong spirit upon life.

"She has worked all kinds of part time jobs, from cleaning and washing the fish at the fish market to selling bento boxes. Just to earn money so her stepmother could lead a more comfortable life after her father's passing. Her kindness and seriousness in life made me want to become a better person."

He then bent down and looked Soo Young in the eyes, "She made me believe that the world is not that bad after all, and I want to protect her and not let her get hurt ever again... Because she's been hurting for too long."

Tears welled up in Soo Young's eyes as she heard his statement

Tears welled up in Soo Young's eyes as she heard his statement. Back at the spectator benches, Sung Jae's mother, director of the University, and So Hyun's dad watched the whole scene and weren't happy. She assured him that once this trial was over, Sung Jae and this girl would not have any relations.

The door slammed open and justice prevails! Min Jae came rushing in with the CCTV tape he spent the whole day getting hold of. The disc that could prove Soo Young's innocence was shown to the court and the truth was finally out.

Mr. Pervert realised that the evidence was against him and while everyone was watching the clip, he managed to sneak out from the back door and runs back home to tell Soo Young's stepmother that they had to leave the place immediately. But to his surprise, she was already gone.

Soo Young's innocence was proven and she was finally free.
