As expected, the victim went to find the pervert. The pervert that assaulted her just came down the taxi in a drunk state and saw the victim trying to hurt him. The victim started going crazy because of the trauma he caused and started strangling him. She had a mini knife in her hand and wanted to hurt him. 

At that time, Sung Jae and Soo Young arrived. Sung Jae quickly went up to stop her and pulled her back. "Calm down!!!!" he shouted. The victim turned around and saw Sung Jae.

"IT'S YOU!!!! I'M GOING TO KILL YOU!!" She exclaimed. She despised Sung Jae because he was the one who helped the pervert get away with his wrongdoings.

"NO DON'T!!!!!" Soo Young jumped in the middle and protected Sung Jae, hugging him. 

The victim injured Soo Young's back with her knife instead. It's not that she really wanted to kill them, it's just that she wasn't in her right state of mind with all the stress she has been going through. When she saw that she had hurt Soo Young, she immediately dropped her knife and cried regretfully. 

"SOO YOUNG AH!" Sung Jae panicked and shouted. He felt the blood on her back and immediately took off his coat to wrap her up. "Are you ok?! It's okay Soo Young-ah, it's okay." he cupped her face and hugged her. Thankfully, the wound isn't that bad and Soo Young was fine. 

The victim kept on crying on the floor and saying sorry and that she didn't mean to. Sung Jae almost wanted to fight her but Soo Young pulled him back. 

Soo Young went up to the victim with an injured back, and held her hands. "It's okay, don't be scared. I'm ok. We're going to go back to the hospital together ok? You're not going to be alone. Long time ago, I wanted to do that to the monster who hurt me as well. But before anything happened, I met him (talking about Sung Jae). The pain did not drown me because he was there with me." 

"So that girl was you." the victim realized.

Soo Young gave the girl a hug, and they both shared some tears together. Sung Jae just watched from behind with a painful expression.

They were then quickly brought to the hospital and Soo Young had to get her wound treated. The victim and Sung Jae sat in the waiting room to wait for Soo Young.

"I want to apologise." Sung Jae started talking. He continued, "If i had said this to you sooner, this thing wouldn't happen. I won't apologize for what I had said to you in the court before, because that is my job. When I have my lawyer's suit on, whatever I do or say, is for my client. What I want to apologize for is that, I went against my heart and took up this case for that perverted asshole. Even though I already ended my contract with him, the fact that I didn't apologize to you sooner, I really regret that."

The victim just silently listened to him talk, while sobbing uncontrollably. There was a long silence after, then Sung Jae added,

"It's not your fault my wife is inside there right now. It's mine. She got involved for me."

"I understand. I know you're just doing your job," the victim said. "But do you know? My heart really hurts. It really does."

"I know. You need someone who understands you." Sung Jae replied.

"You know, your wife said the same thing. I just wasn't listening then." The victim told him, and Sung Jae smiled a little.

"You both must be very much in love. That's why you're so in sync. How you do things for each other so selflessly." 

Sung Jae just stared at the ground, a bittersweet feeling lingering inside him. "Perhaps it's because, we've been through a lot together."

Just then, Soo Young was done with her treatment and stepped out of the room. She went to the victim and held her from behind.
