This story is an Autumn's Concerto remake, however I tried to change some elements.
I really liked that story and I thought it would be nice to look at it in a sungjoy stan viewpoint.

Back at Jeju village, Soo Young and Sami sat on the dining table. Sami told Soo Young that she should cook Kimchi fried rice for Sung Jae and his assistant Seon Ho tomorrow, since they will be coming over in the morning to finalise some issues with Sae Ron's case.
"Kimchi fried rice! Omma, you said before last time that appa helped you defeat the bad guys so you wanted to cook kimchi fried rice for him!" Sami innocently stated.

Min Jae then came to the door and cutely listened to what Sami was saying.
"Omma! then you told me appa was angry at you at one point but then he became happy again and you both had Sami! :D" Sami continued, but the last sentence was muffled because Soo Young covered Sami's mouth when she noticed Min Jae was listening at the door.
Min Jae then suddenly asked, "and then?"
Sami squirmed out of Soo Young's grasped, "and then appa likes kimchi fried rice!" which made Min Jae chuckle and went, "oooooohhhh" and gave Soo Young an amused look.
Soo Young quickly hugged Sami in embarrassment and Sami asked her why she didn't let her go on and Soo Young replied that she would know some day. (It's because they did it that night and had Sami but she was too shy to talk about it in front of Min Jae.)
Later, Min Jae sat down on the table with her and asked about her relationship with Sung Jae.
"It doesn't matter. Sung Jae doesn't care about me anymore." Soo Young told him.
Min Jae sighed and said, "Soo Young-ah, you aren't fair to him, because you have never told him that you love him. Be more brave. When you were afraid, it's Sung Jae who gave you courage, but now that he's afraid, shouldn't you give him courage? I know that you might be hurt again, but shouldn't you two give each other a chance? if one chance is not enough, then take another chance, you two can't always just wait for each other... Happiness needs to be chased."
Soo Young was very touched and thanked Min Jae for his sincere heart for all these years.

The next day, Soo Young was really hyped up with preparing the feast awaiting Sung Jae's arrival. Min Jae told Soo Young that Sami went to accompany her friend, Tae Yong to take his injections. The whole Jeju village was so excited to welcome their hero, Sung Jae... until only Seon Ho showed up. Turns out Sung Jae didn't come, and only Seon Ho came.
.... with the divorce papers.
He told Soo Young that Sung Jae was going to leave for America that day and he only booked a one way ticket because he might be looking for jobs in firms that had been wanting him to work there for ages. Also, since So Hyun's in America as well, he said that Sung Jae might stay there.
Min Jae was super angry upon hearing this and managed to scare Seon Ho away. When Seon Ho left in a hurry, Min Jae wanted to chase him with the divorce papers that he left, but Soo Young said, "Min Jae-ah, don't be like that... It seems that Sung Jae's really disappointed in me..."
