So Hyun looked at Sung Jae, who was carrying Soo Young in his arms, as if they were super close and intimate. Thankfully, she didn't remember who Soo Young was. It was an awkward situation and she felt kind of uncomfortable but she was very understanding. She quickly signalled Sung Jae to put Soo Young down so they could treat her sprained ankle. She also told them that she visited cause she wanted to see the nice villagers Sung Jae kept talking about.

Soo Young then stated that she should go give Sami a bath, trying to get out of the awkward situation. However, Sung Jae asked her to sit down and rest her ankle. He told her that he would bathe Sami.

While giving Sami a bubble bath, Sami closed her eyes and wished out loud for Sung Jae to accompany her to sleep that night. Sure enough, Sung Jae agreed to fulfil her wish. They were having a lot of fun together, putting soap bubbles on each other's heads and faces.

Outside, So Hyun was talking to Soo Young and she said that after seeing Sung Jae with Sami, she felt like he would be a good dad next time. Sami finished her bath and ran out excitedly to tell Soo Young that Sung Jae was gonna accompany her to sleep. Sung Jae laughed and asked So Hyun if she was okay with it. So Hyun smiled and nodded.

Sami held So Hyun's hand and escorted her to show her where her bedroom was. Sung Jae then looked over at Soo Young and asked her, "So Hyun is really nice right?" Soo Young nodded and told him that he was very fortunate to have met her.

"But I feel that being able to meet you and Sami... I am also very fortunate. Thank you." Sung Jae said. So Hyun overheard the conversation and looked kind of down in some way.

That night, Sung Jae put Sami to sleep in his arms and looked at her warmly. She resembled her mother a lot, he thought. Long eyelashes, rosy cheeks, defined nose, perky cherry lips... There was just something about Sami that made his heart ache. He's definitely going to miss her.

Over at So Hyun's room, she received a call from Lawyer Seowon who had been checking up on Soo Young, and relayed the information to So Hyun.

So Hyun now knows that Soo Young was the woman Sung Jae had loved deeply.

She never saw her before, but now she did. So Hyun then recalled her conversation with Sung Jae's mother 6 years ago. Sung Jae's mother had asked her not to tell Sung Jae about this girl and to just fill in her presence in Sung Jae's memories with So Hyun herself.

So Hyun had a hard time sleeping that night. She was worried and kept wondering why Soo Young was pretending not to know him. Why she was doing all these. She also felt a little guilty from keeping the truth from Sung Jae.

The next day, So Hyun tried to brush it off and pretended like she knew nothing. Everything was in the past anyway, and now Soo Young even had a child with Sami's dad. Everyone was over it and had moved on, she thought.

Sung Jae and So Hyun then packed their things into their car, ready to leave Jeju village. The whole village came to say their farewells, and gave them some gifts for the wedding. They were very thankful for Sung Jae for saving their land.

Sae Ron came with Min Jae's mother to give them couple pillows and blankets as well. And after she learned that Min Jae was inside the house, she ran in only to find Min Jae confessing his feelings to Soo Young.

Min Jae finally told Soo Young how he felt all these while, and that it hurts him to see her sad. He stated that he would take care of her and follow her wherever she may go. He liked her so much, more than she would ever know. He then asked her, "Can you give me a chance to be the one to take care of you and protect you...?" Soo Young looked at him, tears dripping down her face. She thought about it for awhile, recalling how he has always been the only one there for her all these while. However, She couldn't say anything. She just let Min Jae hug her.

Sae Ron saw the whole thing from outside the room, and she was left heartbroken.

When it was time for Sung Jae to leave, he went to say his goodbye to Sami and gave her his address in Seoul. But Sami couldn't stop crying and hugging Sung Jae tightly, which cause Sung Jae to tear as well.

"Sami-ah, you are very obedient. If only I have a child that's cute and obedient like you," he told Sami while hugging her. He also gave her his bracelet as a memory of him. (The bracelet was the bracelet that Soo young gave him 6 years ago, but Sung Jae doesn't know what lies inside the bracelet)

After telling Min Jae to take care of Soo Young and Sami, he got into the car and left with So Hyun. However, Sami broke off from Min Jae's grasp and ran after the car from behind and cried for Sung Jae. She kept running after the car and crying but Sung Jae didn't stop. He also couldn't stop crying.

Soo Young heard and knew that Sung Jae truly left, so she finally broke down in tears.
