After school closed, Hanan reminded me not to forget about Alim's birthday tomorrow. Oh, I swear, I completely forgot! I hadn't even told my mom about the birthday. Insha Allah, I'll let her know today. We continued chatting until Hanan's brother arrived. Alim, oh my God, he's so charming. Then Hanan suggested "won't you talk to my friend, and he greeted me with "hello pretty." Omg, my heart started racing, gbam! I felt it deep inside me. Does he really think I'm pretty? I was so surprised and happy. So, I quickly said, "ohhh hey handsome," and he just chuckled. Oh my God, that smile of his is killer, men! 😄
After a few minutes, my bro Mus'ab came to pick me up, and he spotted Alim talking to Hanan. "Oh, it's you," said Mus'ab, looking surprised, and Alim seemed surprised too. They just smiled at each other. Alim gave Mus'ab a manly hug and said, "It's been a long time since we saw each other. I was in JSS2 back then." They exchanged numbers, promised to stay in touch, and bid each other goodbye.
"Ya Mus'ab, bro bro bro, what do you want, little sis?" I asked. I told him, "Bro, I want to buy a birthday gift for Alim. Please, what should I buy for him? Please, please tell me."
"I knew it, you want me to help you, that's why you called me," Mus'ab said. "Ya Mus'ab, let's go shopping, my sweet sis!" I exclaimed. "Yey, bro, much love, muah," I said. He just smiled and replied, "Much hate, sis." I chuckled, knowing he didn't mean what he said.
After we bought a watch and perfume for Alim, I went crazy over chocolates, so I got Milky Dairy, Bounty, and some ice cream and Pringles. We hopped into Mus'ab's car and zoomed off home.
"Mummy Daman, I forgot to tell you that I'll be going to a birthday party," I said. "Whose party are you going to?" my mum asked. "It's Hanan's brother's birthday party. His name is Alameen. Hanan invited me to the party," I explained. "OK, Allah ya kaimu," my mum said. "Ameen."
Alim's POV:
I was deep in sleep when I felt something on me. Opening my eyes, I saw Hanan pouring water on me and singing, "Happy birthday to you, how old are you now, happy birthday, happy birthday to you."
"OMG, I can't believe my bro is already 18," Hanan exclaimed. I just shook my head and teasingly asked, "When are you going to grow up, Hanan?" "Tomorrow," she replied. "It's already 12:00 PM, so you have to wake up. Dad has already ordered 3 birthday cakes, so go freshen up, OK, before you disturb me."
Iklas POV Ifty called me to ask if I'm ready, and I replied that I'm about to get ready. I wore my black kimono with a karina shirt and straight skirt.
