After admiring my besties for a few minutes, I grabbed the gift I bought for him, or let's say Mus'ab bought it for me, and quickly snapped a picture of the gift on my phone.

A few minutes later, I heard beep beep, indicating I had two messages at the same time. It was Amal and Ifty texting me that they were already at Hanan's house.
I entered my mum's room with Sallama, finding her on the bed reciting Al-Qur'an. She put down the Quran and greeted me with "waalaikumus salam." "Mum, I will be going," I said. "OK, but be back before isha," my mum replied. "You can't go anywhere without me, little sis," Mus'ab chimed in. "Aww, who told you that? You don't even know her house," I teased Mus'ab. "Oh, you're right. When I reach their area, I'll call one of them to come and pick me up." "No need, I'm also invited," Mus'ab said. "Who invited you?" I asked. "The birthday man. You people should go; you're distracting me," my mum joked. So we quickly kissed her cheek and left.
"How did you know,Alim?" I asked Mus'ab. "He's my old little friend," Mus'ab replied. So, he was his old friend, I thought to myself.
As we reached the huge gate, Mus'ab honked, and a gate man opened the gate. When we entered the big mansion, I was in awe. The house was so big that I felt like fainting. Mus'ab parked the car in the parking lot.
In the living room, Hanan quickly came and hugged me, saying hey to Mus'ab. Hanan grabbed my hand, and we headed upstairs to greet her mum. In her bedroom, her mum was busy reading something. She put down the paper she was reading and smiled at me. I quickly squatted down and greeted her, "ina wuni" (good afternoon). "How are you?" she asked. "I'm fine," I replied. "Your name is Iklas, ko?" she inquired. I nodded. After that, Hanan quickly said we would be going, and her mum smiled at me once again before we headed to the place.
As we reached the place, Ify and Amal quickly hugged me. I was about to sit down when Hanan grabbed my hand again, and we left the place. 😱😱 OMG, ya Alim looked breathtaking today. He was wearing black pants, a red T-shirt, and a black cap. Oh, God, handsome as always! He was busy chatting and laughing with Mus'ab and Ibrahim. Then, Mus'ab excused himself to answer a phone call. At that moment, Hanan called his name, and he quickly turned around while Ibrahim was looking elsewhere.

When he turned around, our eyes met, so he smiled at me, and I smiled back. Then Hanan said it was time to cut the cake, and I had to come. "I will be right there," Ya Alim said
"Wow, the cake looks beautiful," I said, looking at Hanan, especially the chocolate cake

Happy birthday to you Happy birthday to you Happy birthday happy birthday happy birthday to u Peepee hurray we said as he cut the cake
Hanan was about to give Ya Alim the cake when we heard another voice singing and clapping, it was Fadila. She came in and faced Ya Alim without saying "sallama" tsk tsk tsk.
And she started saying, "Alim, it's your birthday today, and you didn't invite me? I'm seriously not happy, Alim, but I love you so much, so I will let it slide." So she took the small knife, cut a cake, and asked him to open his mouth. "Hanan, come and give me the cake," Ya Alim said as Hanan pushed Fadila and put the cake in his mouth. "Yummy," Alim said. So he wanted Fadila to be angrier, so he decided to call Iklas. "Wait, did he just call me?" I thought to myself. "How did he know my name?" he called again, "Iklas." "Yes," I said. "Come," he said. I did as he said. He gave me a knife and asked me to cut him a cake. So I quickly cut it. "Bani a baki," he said. As I was about to give him the cake, Ify quickly took a picture of us. "Awwwn, I love her," I thought. So I quickly gave him the cake and went back to my place.
"I spotted Fadila, her emotions ablaze, as she swiftly hissed and handed him a gift. She then flashed a smile at Alim and said, 'See you on Monday,' before she departed. Today, I was elated as I surprised Alim with a cake in his mouth – it was truly a moment to remember. Excitedly, I inquired with Ifty about the picture, and she mentioned she would send it to me via WhatsApp. I can hardly wait," I mused to myself.
"The party was lit, everyone was grooving, including me fa, but I kept it low-key. Amal, Ifty, and Hanan, though, they were tearing up the dance floor!
After the party, everyone had given their gifts except me. I asked Hanan to pass on the gift, but she insisted I do it myself. 'What, go give it yourself,' she said. 'Please, mana, no, no, no.' I gave in and walked over to where he was seated. 'Uhmmm, ya Alim,' I said. As he looked up, I handed him the gift. Turning to leave, he called my name and thanked me. 'You're highly welcome, yayanmu (our bro),' I replied. He just smiled and called me 'kanwarmu' (our little sis). Awwn, I liked that. He chuckled, and I bid him goodbye."
