Everyone looks around for who said those two words, but the culprit was standing at the altar. "I object," she repeats softer this time, dropping Michael's hands. Michael looks at her in a way of confusion before she mutters a quick im sorry and lifts her dress to walk down the three steps.
"Look, I know there's been a lot of time and money put into this wedding, but standing there in front of him, I realize that Im too young for this. Shit, I'm not ready to get married. I want to go out and party and do whatever young people do, not be held down by a husband that would be touring with his band anyway." she sighs and clears her throat. "I guess what I'm trying to say is that I'm sorry. I hope you find the one for you, Michael." she says and sends a wink my way before walking back down the isle and turns a corner.
"So what now?" someone says. Nobody has moved yet, everyone still shocked by what just happened, but the only thing I can think of is;
should I go up there or...I mean he is staring at me, but I'm not sure if it's a glare or what, it's an expression I've never seen Michael have before. He begins walking over to me, his hands still at his side and I stand, ready to explain how none of this was my fault. Everyone's eye follow him as I ooen my mouth to speak, but his hand goes to the back of my head and he presses our lips together.
I'm shocked and wide eyed, too shocked to do anything until his lips move on mine and I finally melt into it and kiss back. People cheer behind us and I smile against his lips as he pulls me closer to him by my hips and I cup his cheek.
He pulls away and rests his forehead on mine, a smile firmly placed on his lips.
"You know that stuff that I said I felt about Maya a while back?" he asks and I shrug a little bit, because no I do not.
"Well I was wrong, it was you that made me feel like that." he mumbles causing a soft laugh to escape my lips and I close my eyes happily.
"oh my god, finally." I say and this time he laughs. We kiss again, him pushing me back so I sit in my chair once more, and people begin geting up, leaving because the moment was over and we just turned into horny teens.
The chair falls backwards after a while and only then do I notice that the wedding hall is empty. We land with a hard thud and I groan in pain then giggle against his lips.
"Ow." I mumble when he pulls away.
"Are you okay?" he asks, concern filling his eyes. I nod smiling,
"I couldn't be better." I mumble and kiss him again.
We don't get any further than making out because the next wedding walked in in the midst of Michael becoming shirtless.
I pout when he buttons his shirt back up and we escape out of the back window and run to my car to get back to the bus.
