Michael
Hastily, I hustle down the slick street, every now and then I would slip only to recover quickly. I run to catch the bus, my feet slapping the pavement and stepping in slush causing it to splatter all over me. I enter the bus with soaked pants an decide to pull the hood of my hoodie over my hair and pull my fingers between each other as I rock back in forth in my seat nervously.
I stare out of the window, fresh snowflakes hitting the window and immediately melting due to the heat radiating off of my body.
The window fogs up as my breath hits the glass, the fog hiding the view of the darkness becoming light as the bus drives on. I feel it glide across the slick surface of the street many times and it makes my heart leap to my throat and my stomach twist in knots as my heart pounds louder in my chest every minute I'm in the bus.
I see my surroundings becoming more recognizable as the ones around the hospital and decide to get out the next stop. I can walk the rest of the way and I honestly do not want to die this way. The bus stops and I quickly find the exit, slipping on the second one but I make it out in one piece. I look around and realize it's a twenty minute walk to the hospital, but decide to tough it out and speed walk there.
It's only been like five minutes and I cannot feel my legs. My toes are wet and numb and my ears most likely have frost on them. I pull on the strings of my hoodie and pull the hood closer around my head as the hospital comes into view. I rub my hands together quickly and shove them back in my pockets before taking a deep breath.
The hospital isn't too far away, I've made it this far and I can make it there.
When I enter the building, my nose is red, I look like Rudolph and I still am unable to feel my toes through my soaked converse.
I toss the hood from my head and shake out my hair, savoring the warm air on my bitter skin as I entered his room. Three heads turned in my direction and Calum noticeably blinked rapidly as I walked up to them.
"Guys, can you give us some privacy?" he asks, looking at the other two with big eyes. Luke nods and drags Ashton out, who didn't look very fond of leaving.
"Michael." he breathes, pulling me down so he wraps his arms around my neck. I hug him back hesitantly, still confused on why he wants me all of a sudden and why his mood has suddenly changed.
"Uh, hey, Cal." I mumble, pulling away. "Are you okay?" I ask him, still unsure of his sudden mood change.
"Yeah-, uh no actually." He says, his eyes dropping to his fidgeting fingers in his lap.
"What is it?" I say, sitting in one of the waiting chairs.
"Michael, I'm fucked up." He says after a minute. "I don't know what happened, but I'm not sure of reality anymore." he looks up at me with hopeful eyes. "I'm sorry that I said we needed a break, at least I'm pretty sure I did, but we don't. Please don't leave me Mikey, I need your help. I need you." his words only make me smile. I was sure that once he broke up with me it would be over for sure, but I guess not. But hey, who's complaining?
"I would never leave you."

We spend the rest of the day and night just talking. Our voices in a hushed manor as the bright sun of midday began to creep in the sky. (a/n: okay so I'm using this thing from the Hunger Games I just, sorry.)
"Real or not real, I was kicked out of our band." He says, playing with my fingers.
"Real." I mumble, admiring the way the sun, peaking through the blinds, looks on his tanned skin and shining through the side of his eyes making them glow. There's a soft hum of the tv in the background as Calum seemed to soak up the information. "You open for us now." I say after a minute. He looks at me in a confused way before his eyes flicker back to the television.
"Do I?" he asks, causing my head to snap towards the tv. I turn up the volume and hear a news woman talking.
"Band member Ryan of 5 Seconds Of Summer announces his resignation from the band. Does this mean the end of 5 s-o-s? Many fans believe otherwise." they cut to a man out somewhere talking to a girl in a 5sos shirt.
"What do you think will happen now that Ryan has left?" he asks, pointing the microphone in her direction.
"I think they'll take Calum back." she says easily, her large braces causing her to spit a little on the microphone.
Another girl comes up behind them, quickly agreeing.
"I liked Calum a lot better than Ryan anyway." they agree. I turn to look back at Calum, who was staring at me with a questionable look.
"Or maybe not."
