"It's not that big a deal, what's the worst she could do?"

"She ruined your life last time she was around Calum! Do you want her to do worse? Are you really that stupid?" he screams at me causing me to flinch away.

"I didn't mean that, Cal." he reaches out for my shoulder but I shrug it off. "Calum please." I sigh nd walk into his chest, standing on my toes to wrap my arms around his neck and bury my face in his neck.

"I know you're sorry." I sigh, biting my lip. "I'm just scared." I mumble, looking back at the letter with shaky hands.
Hello Calum,
I'm glad you still remember me. But I'll be watching you, every time a curtain shimmies, you hear your floor creak late at night, the tapping on your window, that's me. Always be on your guard, always look over your shoulder, sleep with the lights on because when I strike, it'll be when you least expect it.

Every possible scenario runs through my mind as I think of the things she could do or how she could get me. Manipulate Michael? Doubt it. Well, actually I dont. She could make him date her again. Threaten him with something he couldn't imagine living without. Knowing Ruby, she's capable of anything.

That night when we get to bed, I cuddle up to Michael and watch him sleep. How could he be sleeping at a time like this? Everything that's happening, every threat, just every thing, and he's sleeping. Maybe it wore him out, but with every creak from the hall I jump, every sound of thunder outside I jump. What if the thunder is her? Has she somehow manipulated Zeus to have lightning strike at her own will? Maybe this is her torture, having me sit on my thumbs, unable to sleep as I wait for her to strike.

There's a flash of lighting and I look up, seeing a figure in the flash and I shoot up from my spot in bed. Michael shifts in his spot but doesn't wake up so I get out of bed and slowly walk to the window and pull the curtains apart and peek through the blinds. I don't see anything.

Another flash and a boom of thunder sound and there it is again, the figure of a girl. Once I see it I fly back from the window and let out a shriek. I land on my back with a thud and continue to scramble back from the window until there's a tight grasp on my upper arm. I shriek again and look up to see Michael with a concerned look on his face.

"She was- was there ou-outside t-the window." I choke out, grasping his hand tightly.

He gets to his feet but I still keep his hand tightly in my grasp.

"I'm just going to go look, babe," he says and I shake my head, having no time to fangi-boy over how he called me babe.

"Don't go, p-please." I sob, but he just pecks my lips and walks over to the window and pulls up the blinds up, looking both ways out of the window twice. He comes back with a confused look and sits back with me on the ground and pulls me on his lap.

"There's nobody out there, Cal." he soothes, running his fingers through my hair.

"B-but I saw her." I argue weakly, "Please believe me." I beg, my voice cracking a little as my throat begins feeling raw.

"I believe you, baby." he mumbles, holding me close to his chest.  "She's just not there anymore." he soothes and I nod,

"Okay."

We end up falling asleep on the floor, cuddled into one another until I'm shaken awake the next morning.

I groan and shuffle, not wanting to get up quite yet so I feel around for the covers and pull them over me once I find them. I roll over and realize that a) I'm not on a bed and b) where's Michael? I sit up, realizing that I had pulled the blanket feom the bed onto the floor.

I stand up and walk into the bathroom, seeing Michael already in there brushing his teeth.

"Morbing-ah!" he mumbles and I laugh. I stand beside him and get out my toothbrush and toothpaste and squirt some on the brush just as he leans over and kisses my cheek.

"Ew!" I squeal, wiping the blob of toothpaste off of my cheek.

"Hey!" he pouts, spitting out his toothpaste. "Don't you like my kisses?" he whines and sends me pouty lips.

"Of course I do baby!" I giggle, "Just not when they're covered in toothpaste." I reason, beginning to brush my teeth. My mind begins to wonder as I stare at Michael's reflection. When did he start smoking? I spit out the tooth paste put everything back where it was supposed to go.

"Hey, Mikey?" I ask as we walk back into the main part of the hotel room.

"Yes?" he answers,  pulling on a black t shirt and a red plaid flannel with the word Idiot written on the back.

"Do you smoke?" I ask and he freezes in the slightest bit that you wouldn't notice unless your eyes were glued to him.

"Of course not." he says, pulling on his black skinny jeans. He's lying. I cant believe he's lying to me.

"Well, when I kiss you, you taste like cigarette smoke." I reason and he sighs.

"Okay, you caught me." he mumbles.

"Why?" I ask, sitting down on the bed.

"Lots of stress, and it's a major reliever." he says causing me to flop down on my back.

"It's bad for you." I say and then somehow that conversation ended, neither of us wanting to argue about it. After a while of silence I get up, deciding to get dressed as well. "Im sorry about last night." I tell him, pulling on a bro tank and black skinnies.

"You shouldn't be, I understand." he tells me and I smile.

"Let's go get some breakfast." I say and we walk down the hall and passed Luke and Ashton's room.

Wow, Ashton's right, Luke is a howler.
