The next morning I woke up, tear stains on my face.
I sat up and stretched. I was tired and sad that my friends and lover now hated eachother.
"Why can't we just get along...?" I mumbled as I got out of bed and headed to the shower.
When I got to the bathroom I undressed myself and turned on the shower.
I climbed in and let the water run down my face as I teared up again. It was all so unfair. I wish Fiona could see that I loved her but as a little sister and I wish that Marshall could just bite his tongue every once in a while to prevent things like this from happening.
Then there was a knock at the bathroom door. "Bubba?" Marshalls voice rang out.
I peaked my head round the glass door that kept the water in the shower, "M-Marshall....!" I squeaked nervously. "You c-can't be in here! I'm naked."
"Obviously you're naked you can't shower with clothes on..." He chuckled, taking of his own clothes. "Mind if I join you?"
I went back behind the glass screen. "F-Fine...but no funny business I'm n-not in the mood."
He got into the shower with me and began massaging my back. "I'm sorry about yesterday, but, at the same time I'm not. I just want to tell everyone your mine again..." Marshall whispered. "So...I'm sorry I hurt your feelings but not sorry for doing it."
I sighed. "Worst apology ever but I'll accept it...' I giggled softly. "But...It's not really your fault...It's Fiona's. I wish she could understand..."
"I know, Gummy." The demon whispered, kissing along my neck, causing me to whimper softly. "Well that was fucking adorable." He laughed.
"Sh-Shut up and I thought I sai-..." I mumbled but was cut off by Marshall.
"Yeah, yeah...'No funny business.'" Marshall grabbed the shower gel. "I swear I'm on my best behaviour, my lord" He insisted as he began to wash my body.
I giggled as he said this, relaxing into his touch. "Mmm...Let's go to the treehouse tomorrow and see Fiona and Cake... I'll bring muffins or cream puffs...."
Marshall laughed softly. "Baking sounds fun...I'll help." He began washing my hair. "You know...The running away idea from a few years back is still in place...We could just forget everything...Be who we wanna be."
"Marshall you know that if I could I would...But I can't and you know that. Maybe a few years ago when we were in highschool but now that I'm really prince. I can't. I have things to do...I can't even leave my citizens for a day!" I sighed.
Marshall nodded. "Okay, Okay..." He turned me to face him, running his fingers through my hair. "God...You are cute."
I blushed deeply. "L-Lets get out of here..." I moved past him and got out of the shower.
Marshall smirked and followed me out, clearly pleased he managed to work me up.
I dried myself off, Marshall doing the same.
"So what're we gonna be baking?" Marshall asked pulling his clothes back on.
I went over to my closet and got dressed. "Muffins. I always make cream puffs so I wanna change it up." I smiled at him and put my shirt on. "Ready?"
Marshall nodded and took my hand. "Yup." He said, popping the p on the end.
