Me, Fiona, Cake and Marshall make our way to the dinning room.

Mathias opened the door for us. "Your food will be ready soon."

"Thank you, Mathias." I said, sitting down at the table.

The others followed me in and sat down.

"I am starving!" Marshall said, putting his legs on mine.

"I know that." I giggled pushing him off of me.

Marshall winked at me. "I fancy something...Pink."

Fiona looked between us and raised her eyebrow.

My face reddened and I looked away from him. "S-So Fiona. Any adventures worth sharing?" I asked, trying not to think of Marshalls smirk.

"Oh! Yeah! Me and Cake fought a huge dragon and-" Fiona began to tell her story.

I listened happily as she told us how she had found treasure in the Dragons den and that they had taken it home.

Soon Mathias and a few of my other servants came in with our hamburgers and some red apples and strawberries for Marshall.

We began eating and Mathias put his hand on my shoulder. "Sir, you've received a letter." He held it out to me.

I looked at the letter and took it from him. "Thank you Mathias." I said and opened it.

"What's that?" Marshall asked me, sucking the colour out of his second apple.

I read through it quickly. "Erm...a letter inviting me to a ball in the flame kingdom." I smiled happily.

Fiona looked over at me. "Oh nice, me and Cake got ours this morning."

I smiled at her. "Cool."

"Can you bring a plus one?" Marshall asked.

"Erm yeah..." I said looking at him.

"Can I be your plus one then, Bubba?" He took my hand in his own, smirking at me.

"W-Well... I..." I blushed deeply and pulled my hand away, not wanting Fiona to see.

Marshall raised his eyebrow. "So...?"

"Y-Yeah..." I say, smiling weakly.

Fiona looked between us, confused.

"Great it's a date." Marshall kissed me on the cheek.

Cake gasped and I looked over at them. "Sweet babies." She said.

"Erm...What in Globs name was that?" Fiona asked.

"I-I....Erm..." I didn't know what to say. God why did Marshall have to do this?! It's unfair!

"Oh...Me and Bubba are going out again..." Marshall rubbed the back of his neck, looking a little embarrassed.

"What?!" Fiona said, standing up and slamming her hand on the table. "That's not fair! You broke up ages ago! I was supposed to make my move on him!" She yelled, blushing deeply.

"I-I can't help who I fall in love with Fiona. Besides...You're like thirteen." I said. "I am eighteen!"

"I'm fourteen! And who the hell cares about age?" She walked towards me, pulling out her sword. "I'm the only human left and I have nobody!"

Fiona ran at me, the sword above her head. She swung it at me and I closed my eyes.

"M-Marshall stop....!" I heard her small voice say.

I opened my eyes to see that Marshall had caught the sword in his hand that was now oozing blood. "Get. Away. From him." He hissed. His eyes were black and his pupils were a deep red.

Cake grew to be twice Marshalls size. "Back off, Marshall Lee!" She pushed him away from Fiona.

Marshall growled and wings began to grow out of his back.

I grabbed his arm. "Marshall don't." I warned. "Come on..." I pulled him away.

He looked at me and his eyes turned back to normal. "Ughhhh fine." Marshall looked back at Fiona. "This isn't over though."

With that he flew out of the window.

I looked over at Fiona who had tears in her eyes.

Cake picked Fiona up and jumped out of the window heading back to their treehouse home.

I sat on the floor, looking at the window were my friends and loved had abandoned me.

Mathias came into the room. "Oh, Sir....What happened?" He took my arm and brought me to my feet.

I began sobbing and he hugged be tightly as I told him what had happened.

"Shhh." He soothed me. "Come on, sir." Mathias took me to my room. "Rest...We can worry about all this tomorrow."

I laid down and he pulled the blanket over me.

"Th-Thanks, Dad...." I mumbled, wiping away my tears.

Mathias smiled to himself and walked out of the room.
