"Why does he have to be so loud and extra like he's even doing anything?" I placed my hands over my ears to attempt to block out the sounds of my brother attempting to assassinate a random girl's vagina.

Ace and I had just returned this morning after spending a couple of nights at a spa retreat. Although it was meant to be a couple's retreat, Ace didn't partake in the majority of the services they had to offer. He spent most of the time sitting back and watching me relax. I had tried and failed at making him enjoy the time with me but it was obvious he was content in just observing. I often caught him taking snaps of me which didn't bother me as my face didn't have no mud on it or anything. We were just so content with each other's company that not once did we have sex. Of course we were intimate; kissing and cuddling but not sexual contact was conducted. It honestly didn't surprise me. We were best friends before anything else.

"Am I loud and extra?" Ace asked as he peeled away my hands.

"I can't even remember. It's been that long." I teased back.

"Is that so?"

"Indeed sir." Ace pursed his lips looking at me through squinted eyes.

"You miss 'him', don't you?"

"Well, you started something you didn't finish so what do you expect?"

"True." He shifted us both so that he could put his arm around me. "You mad at me?"

"No, why would I be mad? I'm going to get you back don't worry about that."

"You can't tease me like that, Ny. I'm immune to that sort of thing, unlike Tyson. One look from a girl and he's ready to pounce." I looked to the room which Tyson was preoccupied in.

I really thought that after our conversation when we spoke about Erica he would have come to his senses and acted on his feelings towards her. The day after, I had texted Erica to ask how she was and only today I got a response back from her. It was pretty vague which was indication enough that Tyson had yet to reach out to her yet alone apologise. I didn't attempt to pry on the situation as I didn't want her feeling worse. I had actually asked her if she could change up my hair for me so she was coming over later this evening. I noted to myself to make sure that Tyson was ghost when she was here.

"I'm so over seeing him with numerous flings."

"That's for him to grow up and realise that for himself. Stop worrying about him."

"You know that I can't do that Ace."

"Well, can you at least try? For me?" I looked up at him.

"I'll try." Ace held out his pinky finger and I joined mine with his. He leaned down kissing me. As he slowly pulled away, my sexual lust heightened as if it never decreased.

"I don't know how we survived those nights without doing anything." I admitted. Ace rested his forehead against mine.

"Neither do I. Honestly we did kind of do something."

"What do you mean?" He brought my hand over to his chest.

"We connected this way. If I couldn't touch you again I wouldn't mind. I fell in love with your heart before anything else. Making love to you is just a bonus. A great bonus at that." I dropped my head trying to hide my smile. At my big age he was making me feel like a giddy schoolgirl.

"Why are you blushing? Never been spoken about like that before?" I shook my head in response.

"That kind of stuff you only hear in romance movies." I replied. It was true. If you wanted an unrealistic representation of relationships and want to make your standards of love high, just watch a cheesy romance. Don't get me wrong, there were real-life relationships where it is damn near perfect. Always remember the words 'damn' and 'near'; so not completely perfect.
