"And so modest" laughed Fletch
"Before we go we should talk about sleeping arrangements at Elliot's"
Fletch bent his head and nuzzled her neck "sleeping arrangements uhuh?"
Jac pushed him away- Fletch nuzzling her neck was a massive turn on for Jac. She had been surprised at this because when Jonny used to try that it was just ticklish and unpleasant.
"Fletch that's not fair"
"I know, sorry. It's just when words like sleeping arrangements come out of your mouth..." he gestured to the bulge in his trousers
"Oh" said Jac blushing furiously. "Anyway what I was trying to say was that there are 6 bedrooms at Elliot's and 7 of us"
Fletch raised a suggestive eyebrow
"So two of us are going to have to share"
"We.."
Jac cut him off "and I don't think it should be us" Jac laughed at his sad puppy impression
"You're right,it's too soon to land that on them"
"So?"
"Well Mikey and Theo share a room here, or I could go on the couch"
"No I think I should bunk in with Emma"
"Ok - let's just get there before we start arguing about it"
"Do you want to take both cars or shall we go in 'the beast'?" The beast was the nickname the family had given the 7 seater that Fletch had bought when a patient left him a lot of money
"I'm happy to go in the beast" Jac laughed
"You Fletchers are bonkers"
"I know" he laughed picking her up and spinning her round as she squealed for him to put her down
They all piled into 'the beast' and drove the 20 miles to Elliot's house. The kids all seemed to be getting on well
"Too good to be true" said Jac under her breath as she gazed out of the window
Fletch who was driving obviously caught what she said and reached over to squeeze her knee. He gazed at her briefly and smiled. All was well when Fletch smiled at you she thought.
They pulled into the drive of the impressive old house
"Wow it's massive" Mikey commented
Jac got out and unlocked the old wooden door then everyone rushed past her to explore.
"Whoa kids mind Jac" Fletch called starting to get bags from the boot
"I'm fine" she said "here let me help you, be careful of your hand"
Fletch put the bags down and wrapped her in his arms " I love you" he said simply
"Love you too" she held on to him tightly
"That feels nice" he said stroking her lower back
"Dad come and look,this is awesome"
Fletch sighed "I'm on my way"
Mikey was the one who called Fletch
"There's a huge garden and look a wood"
Jac had followed on behind - "the key is hanging up there"
"I'm going to check out the bedrooms" Jac said "Fletch, you bringing the bags up?"
"Sure" he grumbled as he watched all five kids head down to the bottom of the garden. "Evie keep an eye on the little ones please"
Fletch followed Jac upstairs and dumped the bags on the landing.
"Jac where are you?" he called
Before he got any further hand came out of a room and dragged him inside
"I'm right here Mr Fletcher"
