Jac woke after a fitful night's sleep and bleary eyed jumped in the shower. When she got out there was a message from Fletch on her phone
"Morning Naylor you sexy thing. Hope to see you later. I'm already at work on an early whereas you doctor types swan in at 9am. I'll let you know how it goes with PA

Jac smiled in the absence of the real thing that was nice to wake up to
"Morning yourself Fletcher. I preferred yesterday's wake up call but this is nice also.
Maybe see you later for lunch?

Jac smiled remembering his heart-attack on a plate sandwiches.
Jac dropped Emma off, pleased to see that the other children appeared to have missed her.
Walking onto Darwin felt weird but different to two nights ago. Sitting on the chair in her office she hugged herself as she marvelled at how quickly things can change.
Jac had gathered some return to work paperwork from HR on her way up and now it was filled in decided to place it in the post tray at the nurse's station
"Ms Naylor" said Frieda in surprise
"Don't worry I'm just here doing admin before I return on Monday. Is Fletch about?" Jac tried to sound casual. I mean Frieda knew and them getting together was largely because of her but Jac didn't want to appear too keen
Frieda smirked "not seen him all morning"
"Oh stop smirking Petrenko" Jac said laughing
My god she really has had a personality transplant thought Frieda
"So you're well enough to come back?"
"Looks like it" said Jac in a sarcastic tone
Ah there she is thought Frieda the Jac Naylor we know and love.
There was still no sign of Fletch by 11.30 I mean if he was going to see psycho Abi first thing he would be back on the ward by now. Just as Jac was considering ringing him her ringtone announced that he was calling
"Hi" Jac smiled
Silence. "Hello?" She tried
She heard Fletch clear his throat "Jackie this is Adrian. Look I know what I said but I've made a terrible mistake I want to be with Abi. I know you were going to pick Theo up later but me and Abi can do it. Bye. Sorry"
He hung up and Jac stared at the phone. She rushed out onto the ward and found Frieda dragging her into her office
"What the ...." Frieda began but was interrupted by Jac
"Something's wrong "
Frieda looked at her quizzically
"Fletch was going to see Abigail this morning"
"Why?"
"Long story but she's gone a bit fatal attraction over Fletch"
"Fatal attraction?"
"You know fatal attraction, glen close, bunny boiler"
Frieda looked at her blankly
"Oh for god sake. She's a bit obsessed. Fletch thought it was a meaningless hook up she thought they were in a relationship. She hacked the HR data base and got mine and Fletch's home addresses and turned up at our houses with thinly veiled threats to make life difficult and told me to be careful"
"Okay" said Frieda "so what's happened now"
"Ok. No sign of Fletch all morning. Weird right? It would not take him all morning to tell her to back off. Then I get this phone call where he calls me Jackie - he knows that I absolutely hate being called that and he referred to himself as Adrian which he also hates. Then he said he'd made a big mistake and wanted to be with Abi. We gave only ever referred to her as Abigail or psycho Abi . And finally he said that I didn't need to pick Theo up from crèche as they would do it. He never asked me to pick Theo up" Jac sounded panicked
"Right first of all we get the kids from crèche - i'm sure one of the nurses will look after them in the staff room. Second I'll ring security and alert them but tell them not to barge in. Third we go to her office to try and talk and try to find out if he's ok" Frieda took charge
Whatever was going on she thought it does not it sound good
