Chapter 22

Dohwan's phone is beeping. A message showed up at the screen. Gayoung accidentally read it.

Hwayoung : Dohwana...thank you for calling me last night. How is your shooting today? I missed us.

Gayoung froze. Last night? After they were cuddling he called another girl that he said he never meet again after the drama ended. He lied.

"Here we go...", Dohwan drapped a jacket around her.

"Oh...thank you.", Gayoung said coldly.

"Are you okay?", Dohwan worried.

"I am fine."

"You look pale..."

"I am just tired...I should go back to my room.", Gayoung leave him without waiting an answer.

Dohwan just standing there watching his girlfriend leave. What's wrong with her? She didnt even say goodnight.

She knows she shouldnt runaway. She should ask him. But the fact that he didnt tell her about that was enough proof that she actually didnt know him like she thought she did.

AUUCHH!! Gayoung was bumping with Soyoung. She was too busy thinking, she didnt even realize where she was going. "Oh...sorry....I wasnt looking...", Gayoung said apologically.

"It's okay...", Soyoung smiled. "Umm...can we talk?"

"Huh?", Gayoung really didnt want to talk. She just want to burried her face in a pillow and sleep. "I..."

"Just for a few minutes...", Soyoung pleads.

Gayoung sigh. She couldnt say no. "Okay..."

They sit in a small picnic table in the terrace. "Sorry...to disturb you...I just need someone to talk to...", Soyoung starts talking.

"It's fine...", Gayoung smiled.

"You know...it was my second drama...and the rating keeps droping...I dont know what to do...people said that the rating was bad due to the lack chemistry from me and oppa...", Soyoung sigh. "I've tried my best...and honestly I really like Dohwan oppa..but it's like something holding him back..."

"I...", Gayoung didnt know how to respond to that.

"I've watched his drama before...and his chemsitry with Hwayoung shi was amazing...so I know that oppa can do better than this...", then she stop and think for a moment. "Or maybe...there was something really going on between them, wasn't it?"

"I dont know about that...you should ask him yourself...", or maybe they should asked him together. Because she really wanted to know too.

"But if he keeps going on like this...I am afraid it'll hurt his career..I heard that one of roles that offered to him might getting canceled..."

"What??", Gayoung shocked. Why he didnt tell her?

"Oppa told me this morning...he looks sad...", Soyoung added. "I know you're pretty close to him...can you tell him to stop holding back...for the sake of our drama...for his future..."

"I'll try...", she was the one who's holding him back right? But Soyoung doesnt know that.

"Thank you...Good night Gayoung shi...", Soyoung stand up and leave her.

"Nde...", Gayoung stay there. There was so many things going on in her head. But one thing that keep echoing in her head was she should stop holding him back, for the sake of his future. And she couldnt erase the image of his sad smile from her mind.

Everything was wrong from the beginning.
She wasnt supposed to be in love.
They werent supposed to be together.
He should be with Soyoung not her. 
It wasnt her roles and he wasnt supposed to be her man.
