Gayoung is staring at her phone that hasn't stopped ringing since the clock hit 00.01 am. Today is her birthday. She received a lot of congratulation messages. But not a single one can make her smiles. She knows it's impossible for him to send her a message. But she can't stop herself from hoping. Hope that somehow he found a way.
She should just stay at home. She already celebrated her birthday with her mom yesterday. Just like what she did every year since she was with Dohwan. She always celebrated her birthday with her family a day before her actual birthday. Because her mom knew she will spend her birthday with Dohwan. She insisted on staying at Dohwan's apartment tonight. Hoping somehow Dohwan will miraculously show up.

"WOOF! WOOF!", two puppies suddenly jump on to her bed. Tyche is licking her face. While Yoshi is sniffing at Shihyun's pillow.
Gayoung looks at the dog sadly. "You miss him, don't you?", Gayoung picks Yoshi and stroking his fluffy white fur. "I miss him too...so much...", a tear drops from her eyes. And suddenly she's crying a river. Hugging his pillow. "I miss you...", she sobs.
After crying for an hour, Gayoung tears finally dried. She gets up from the bed and opens Dohwan's black curtain. She thought it'll be bright and sunny. But she's greeted by a cloudy sky. Gayoung sighs. How lovely. As if the universe knows how she feels right now. Gayoung takes her phone and snaps a photo.
"HAPPY BIRTHDAY TO ME", she types the caption sarcastically. Because the one birthday greeting that she's been waiting won't come.
Her phone is ringing. It's her manager. She's considering to just ignore it but afraid that it's about something important.
" Hello, Gayoung ah..."
"Yes oppa...what is it?"
"Hurry up and get ready..."
"Why?"
"It's your birthday...I know you didn't have a schedule today...so let's get out...you should buy me meat..."
"But..."
"No, but...just get ready...I'll be there in 15 minutes...you're in Dohwan's apartment right?"
