Chapter 18

  (Stan Pov)  

I felt my head being petted opening one of my eyes seeing Kenny sitting on my bed on his phone while petting my head with his other hand, I slowly got up yawning was it all a bad dream? "how you doing?" Kenny asked concern.

so it's real, Clyde is really gone...

I shook my head leaning back on Kenny's shoulder checking his phone seeing him texting somebody, "who you talking to?" I question feeling Kenny chuckle as he turn to look over at me. "Craig I've um told them the bad news" Kenny whispered his voice showing sadness.

I sigh looking to the window "do you think we'll have one normal day?" I question, Kenny didn't speak but felt his arm wrap around me "dude we live in south park, the most messed up town in the world" he stated showing me his cheeky grin.

Kenny never really changed when we were younger and he still acts the same, I was glad to see something was normal. "we should get dressed for Kyle's funeral we kinda slept in all morning" Kenny mumble rubbing the back of his head.

I nodded sadly getting ready as Kenny got ready in the bathroom, I stared at myself in the mirror I felt terrible. was it wrong that I didn't want to go? I felt like the last moments I saw him was when we were in school... how I said I wanted alone time...

I felt like crying but I couldn't feel any tears, the door gently open making me fake a smile "is it safe to come in?" Kenny asked in a deep voice making me chuckle. "yah I'm dressed we should get going" I replied walking over to him, Kenny nodded walking beside me down the path.

I looked over at Kenny seeing him in a black tux that he's borrowing from me, lucky that I had two. I had the blue tux after we got to the graveyard I could already spotting Kyle's family sitting down crying, "Stan!" Ike shouted in joy seeing my face.

he ran over to me and Kenny hugging me, "I-I'm so glad to see you here" he said as tears welled up. Kenny got on his knee since Ike was only Ten and was smaller than both of us, "you grown a lot when I last saw you" Kenny said putting a shocked face on.

"your Kenny right?" Ike asked tipping his head to the side Kenny grinned "ah so you do know my name!" he responded patting Ike's head who grinned, it seems like he really missed me and seemed to be happy to see so many people here for Kyle.

I could see Tweek in a green tux as he spoke to Token who was sitting down with his head in his hands, it kind of makes me worry about him... I could see Craig smoking from the side as he stared at the graves around us and I could even see Butters already sitting in one of the chairs while rubbing his knuckles together.

it felt like forever when I last saw him I looked over at Kenny seeing him talking with Ike seeing him laughing at Kenny's stupid yet amazing jokes hopefully he keeps it clean for Ike to understand...

looking around more I could see most of the adults were talking to Kyle's Mom and Dad I could even see my own Mother there listening to other talk while Dad was no where to be seen, knowing him he'll be at the after party to get drunk again.

I strolled over to Butters "kinda shock to see you here" I admitted, I was sure Kyle and Butters only met one time? Butters turn to me "oh y-yah I found out at school about Kyle" he whisper turning his eyes back at the hole.

before I could speak Father Maxi coughed making everyone sit down, "we're here to say our farewell to our dear friend Kyle Broflovski" he started after about half way done his Mother got up in front.

"Kyle has been an amazing Son and an amazing brother to Ike, I regret pushing him to work hard instead of having fun with his friends and I hope my little boy will forgive me" she cried the last part.

I wiped my tears away I don't know how much I can take just sitting here listening to all this, "is there anyone else who would like to have a speech about Kyle?" Father Maxi asked looking around I slowly rise my hand but stopped seeing Craig rise his hand up high.

Craig stood up in front he wasn't really wearing a tux but a plain black shirt and same jeans without his blue hat to show this meant something to him, he looked around at everyone getting ready to talk "me and Kyle didn't really hang out that much and I wish we did, he wasn't a bad guy he was really gifted he had friends he was the best student in the whole school. I was sure to see him in the news when we would be older and out of school but it shows that no matter what even good people will get hurt" he mumble the last bit.

"Kyle was always there for his friends and we had lots of laughs and if Kyle was here I know what he would say" Craig added stopping to stare at us "he would say why we're in a graveyard?" Ike asked confuse, Craig smiled which was rare but it was nice.

"he would say thank god Fatass isn't here!" Craig responded making us laugh "he wouldn't mind about being in this graveyard he would just be happy that everyone he cares about would be here!" Craig laughed out.

he went back to his chair giving me a fast wink as he past me, "Stan would you like to say anything?" Father Maxi asked. I nodded standing up feeling everyone eyes on me "K-Kyle was someone special to me he was my super best friend, I would even say family" I started feeling tears wanting to break free.

"I love the times when he would tease me or when I would tease him back, to my eyes Kyle was perfect and I still wish he was with us at this moment" I said making sure I was loud for everyone to hear.

"I will always remember Kyle and our times together" I finished taking my blue hat off and putting it on the coffin walking back to my chair, I could see everyone with shocked faces seeing I was giving Kyle my only thing I cared about more then anything... my hat that I've had for years.

I watched as the coffin slowly got deeper in the hole seeing my hat still on top making me tear up, I felt a hand on my back seeing Butters giving me a sad smile. the only thought I could think of is the after party...
