Brock and Craig were walking by Evan's dorm room again when they saw Jonathan.

"Jon? What are you doing here?" Craig asked, appalled.

Jonathan looked up from his phone and furrowed his eyebrows. "I just got off of work so I'm heading back to mine and Evan's dorm."

"Aren't you supposed to be at the hospital?"

Brock's question now had Jonathan's heart beating fast.

"Wh-What do you mean?"

All three of them stopped walking as they stood there confused. Brock and Craig looked at one another as Jonathan looked between the both of them.

"I'm so lost," Craig said.

"What are you guys talking about? What do you mean I should be at the hospital?"

"But Luke said..."

"Luke was here?! What happened, dammit?!"

"I-I guess I'll explain." Brock's voice wavered as he spoke. "We were walking by your dorm earlier and we saw Luke carrying Evan out of there. He was knocked out. Of course we were worried, so we asked what happened. I don't remember exactly what Luke said, but it was something about them messing around and Evan hit his head, I think. Craig offered to call you to let you know what happened, but Luke was quick to say no. He said he had already called you and that you were meeting him at the emergency room. But... Clearly that wasn't the case."

There were so many thoughts going through his brain that Jonathan just started running to his dorm room. Footsteps behind him alerted him that Craig and Brock were coming along.

As he fumbled with his keys, Jonathan's shoulder hit the door and it gave enough of a push to open it. This meant the door was never closed completely.

All three of them went in and nothing looked out of the ordinary, which meant nobody had stolen anything. However, a random pan sitting on the counter made Jonathan even more confused than he already was. Why would that be there? Evan's OCD would never allow that to be there on purpose, unless he were cooking with it.

"Uh, Jon?"

Craig saying his name brought him back to reality. He turned his head and saw what the male was holding.

"Why are these here?" Jonathan rhetoricly asked as he grabbed the pink glasses. "Even if he hit his head, his glasses shouldn't be here. He can't see well without them. Why did Luke say he called me when he didn't? Did he say what E.R. he was taking Evan to?"

"No."

"I'm gonna call him."

Jonathan quickly went to Luke's contact and hit the green phone button. It started to ring, but went straight to voicemail.

"Either he dismissed the call that fast or his phone is off," Brock stated. "Try it again."

Doing as told, Jonathan redialed. It went to voicemail just as fast as it had the first time.

"What the fuck is going on?!" Jonathan shouted. "I'm going to his house. Are you guys coming?"

"Obviously!"

They pulled in front of the house and already something was wrong.

"His car isn't here!" Jonathan exclaimed. "I don't understand!"

Brock and Craig looked at each other again.

"You don't think that..."

"That what?!" Jonathan panicked.

"That Luke would... kidnap Evan, do you?"

Jonathan opened his mouth to oppose the idea, but nothing came out. His best friend? Kidnap his boyfriend? But why? Would he? Did he?

Who even knew at this point.

The frustration and confusion that had been flowing through Jonathan's veins were overwhelming him and he didn't know what to do. His arms were getting shaky and his breathing heavy.

None of it made sense.

"Jonathan!"

He didn't even realize he had been hitting his head against the steering wheel until he heard Brock shout his name and felt blood trickle down his forehead. He dropped his face onto the wheel once more and that was it. He began to cry.

Brock and Craig did their best to calm him down and reassure him that there was most likely an explanation for it all, but they knew it was all in vein. They had never seen Jonathan cry before and the reasons why he was made it all the more heartbreaking.

The date was February 12th.
