It has been over a year since I updated this story and for that I sincerely apologize. I never thought I'd become one of those writers on this app but alas, I have. I simply lost an interest in writing due to my depression and that hit me hard because I love writing more than anything in the world. However, I did graduate high school this past June and I officially enlisted into the Air Force back in early September. I am currently in DEP (the Delayed Entry Program) which means I am still waiting to be assigned a job so I can leave to boot camp. I have been doing nothing productive with my time these past three months so I am going to force myself to get back into writing, specifically writing this story.
I have the rest of this story planned out and I am going to write as much as I can before I leave (hopefully that means I finish the story). I am going to reread everything I've written so far to refresh my mind on some things and I most likely won't be fixing/changing anything. There is no estimated time on when the next chapter will be out but I will try to aim for by the end of the weekend. No promises on anything though.
If you're still here to keep reading, thank you. Really. I appreciate it more than you'll ever know. I told @oldparent that I would take on and finish their story concept and that is still exactly what I intended on doing. So buckle up, the rest of this story is an emotional rollercoaster. If you haven't read since I last updated, you might want to reread as well just so you're up to date on where Evan and Jonathan are and what they're doing.
