I stared at my reflection in the mirror. A small smile appeared on my face. I looked beautiful, I believed that I looked beautiful and I knew that I looked beautiful. I was dressed in a aqua green dress that was short in front and long at the back. I didn't match well with my bright red hair but I could care less. I was dressed to please myself and no one else. I paired the dress with a pair of brown high top combat boots. Feeling pleased with myself, I left my room and headed downstairs.
I was greeted with screams as I entered the living room. Aixel was running around the couch with Josephine behind her laughing and screaming just as much. Smiling at the two, I headed into the kitchen. I halted when I saw Aiiden standing on the kitchen counter trying to open one of the cabinets, Asher was standing on a chair quietly cheering him on. I cleared my throat.
They both jumped and turned to look at who had caught them.
"Oh oh," Aiiden said.
"Busted," Asher added.
"Get down before you two hurt yourselves," I scolded them quickly while trying to hide a smile.
They quickly got down. I nodded towards the chairs in the dining room and they scrambled towards it. I sat across from them and tsked.
"Why were you both on the counter?" I asked.
"We were hungry," Aiiden answered quietly.
"Where's your grandmother?"
"Outside," Asher answered in the same fashion.
I hummed and got up and headed back into the kitchen. "What do you want to eat?"
"Can we get potato chips?"
Opening one up the overhead cupboards, I took out two large bags of Lays and handed them to the boys. I planted a kiss on both their foreheads. "I am leaving now, do your mom a favor and be good boys, okay?"
They nodded as they munched on the chips. "Bye mom," They said simultaneously.
I grabbed my small handbag and my car keys. Opening the door to my Range Rover, I hopped in and typed I'm the Miado into the GPS.

Parking outside what looked like an expensive restaurant, I walked slowly inside, admiring the building. I walked up to the lady dressed in a waiter uniform. She looked at my clothes as if they were pathetic.
