Opening the door, my cousin Demi and his fiancée Elizabeth along with his friend, Justin and his fiancée Luisa. All the kids ran inside immediately, a chuckle left my lips as I watched them. Turning back to the two couples, I greeted them. Elizabeth and Luisa were polite as always, after greeting me they left for the kitchen leaving Justin, Demi and I together. I met Demi when I was nineteen. I can still remember the first time I met him.

It was late in the night, Dustin, Lucas, Dylan and I were coming back from a club. It was the club's first opening and my father sent me instead of him going so I took my friends with me. Dylan was beyond drunk, he was dumped by Jackie two nights ago and wasn't taking it well, screaming break up songs, wailing and blubbering. I was not exaggerating, he really was doing all of that. I wasn't the only heartbroken person in the group. I was also a little upset, two days ago I found out that Lucas was gay and I didn't find out by him telling me, instead I caught him with our high school English teacher. I was so upset that I punched the man and ran him out, I apologized later on though. I was still a little upset but when Lucas told me the reason why he didn't tell us, I understood immediately.

Dylan tripped and I caught him immediately.

"Come on bro," I said. "We'll be home soon."

Lucas snorted. "Who's idea was it to walk?"

"Dylan's," Dustin said.

"So he had planned on getting drunk."

"After I said that no one should drink a lot," I said in anger. I slapped Dylan in his head. "You fucking asshole!"

Dylan covered his head. "Stop hurting me!" The words came out slurred

I began walking a little faster, pulling Dylan as I did.

Walking past a dark alley, a painful grunt caught my attention. I knew it wasn't Dylan because the grunt did not come from him. I heard another one.

"Dylan stop doing that," Lucas snapped. "You're not in pain."

"Whaa'd I dooo?" Dylan slurred.

I pushed Dylan into his brother's arms. Lucas stumbled but caught him. "What the hell?"

I placed my index finger on my lips before walking towards the alley. Dustin grabbed my arm and turned me around. "Where are you going?" He whisper yelled.
