Bluebell's P.O.V.

Ok, I'll be honest here.

I totally forgot that during the summer I am WAY more busy than any time during the school year.

My family, friends, and I have been doing a bunch of things every single day. Well, what kinds of things you ask??

Well we have been helping my grandparents move to Florida (tear), spent the forth of July at their house and then going to ours to grill out, then watch fire works (ps. I have THE WORST case of midnight madness), numerous trips around town, planning my b-day party (which is next week), and trying to hangout with friends. Oh, and also I'm in Omaha right now, yupp.

We just got back from observing the Dessert Dome inside the Omaha Zoo, and the heat index is supposed to be 100 degrees F at the Zoo, omfg.

It's really fun, and many of the animals are interesting, there are (no joke) yellow monkeys!!! If you want to know what they look like, you could search "Common Squirrel Monkey" on google. They're really cute.

But now as we walk outside and the afternoon starts to set in, "... it's gonna be pure torture," as I said to my Mom, and it is definitely becoming true. I mean, right now we are fine because we are in the air conditioning of their "IMAX" theatre, but, it's not really IMAX, because in Des Moines it is all around the theatre, but they just use a regular screen here!! It was just a little bigger than the average movie screen. But, ya, we are okay, it's just when we get back to out house tonight that has no air conditioning what-so-ever, is what I'm worrying about.

Ok, so the lemur movie was pretty cool, apparently a few hundred years ago there were lemurs the size of gorillas? Speaking of gorillas, you should have known what the monkeys were doing earlier..... I didn't even see, but my sister was watching and she told us what they were doing, ugh. I'm getting the shivers just thinking about it.

I'm just glad that she is not mentioning anything inappropriate right now. Oh, and I forgot to tell you, that's not event he worst part; whenever my sisters ask about stuff that nine and twelve year olds do not need to know, my Mom answers. It's creepy when you think about it.

Well, that just got weird.

Anyways, after we went to the zoo we just drove home and stopped at a place for food on the way back, but I don't remember much because I had a really bad case of midnight madness.

Oh, and that pretty much sums up my weekend, except for an occurrence that I forgot to mention. On Saturday night, I saw a man get murdered... omg just kidding, wow, sorry I had to do that, but something interesting actually did happen on Saturday night. My family and I went to Omaha'a midtown and their #1 pizza rated place, then went to their local candy shop and got a fudge covered marshmallow pop, it was absolutely delicious, then we went to a park nearby a riverwalk that had the most amazing red, vintage-modern lights along the sides, totally lit the place up ( Lol, get it?). Then at the park there were 20 feet long metal bumpy slides, but it had rained the day before so there were huge murky puddles full of garbage at the bottom of the slides that people were trying to avoid. A lot of people did, but some fell in the puddles (including a forty year old man) and it was pretty funny. When I went down the slide, fortunately, I did not land in a puddle, but, when I was going down the slide my skirt-shorts flew up and my butt was sticking to the slide and making really weird noises, lol fml. Also there was this really cute guy there that kept looking at me, and then when I went with my family over near the river walk he went by on his skateboard and smiled at me!! And that never happens sooo, yepp. And then he tried to do a trick to impress me I guess, but failed, don't worry, he's okay. And here comes the weird part... he has the same name as Griffin. Duh-du-duhh.

Hey, and don't worry, I love Griffin. It's just one of those occurrences that doesn't happen very much, and it was kinda cute and nice. :)

So, overall my weekend was pretty great, haha!

Bye!
