~~~~first Malec chapter!!!! Yay!~~~~
"Magnus can you grab my coat?" Alec called into the bedroom as he was fixing breakfast, which was only bacon and eggs, as they got ready to buy the baby a present and go visit Jace, Clary, and the newborn they hadn't even seen yet, Charlotte in the Herondale manor.
"Of course Alexander" Alec sighed at the use of his full name, he enjoyed the affection (well, not in public) but the use of his full name reminded him of when he was young and his father scolded him.
Magnus came out carrying two black coats, wearing only his purple boxers, he threw them on the opposite counter and slumped into a chair.
"Should I ask?" Alec glared then looked back at his stovetop, "why aren't you dressed?"
"Because, you like it when I walk around in underwear." Magnus smirked, watching Alec's back, he was fully clothed in jeans and a tee-shirt along with a gray zip-up.
"Get dressed before I turn around or you don't get breakfast." He was smiling, although Magnus couldn't tell.
Magnus knew he could easily dress with some magic but that took away from little things in life. He strode to the bedroom and changed fast, applying a coat of mascara before returning to the kitchen where Alec was turning off the stove.

They walked in silence, Magnus purposely bumping into Alec so he could tease him (which Alec was not falling for).
Eventually they got to a small store on the corner of two stores on the calmer side of New York. They stepped inside the stuffy children's store and drifted to the newborns department.
Magnus had never been around babies for more than a visit so he knew nothing of child care.
Alec, on the other hand, knew a few things from when Max had been born. The memory brought back painful memories. Magnus, seeing his expression, squeezed his shoulders.
They decided on a few toys and a sparkly orange teddy bear, a matching tag said 'HI IM MANGOES!' They settled on that, Alec muttering, "Jace is going I hate you even more."
~~~MALEC!!!! Okay, so I'm sorry it's so short! But I have a Sizzy chapter coming up (and I'm really hoping you'll all approve, my friend is going to read it tomorrow morning because, as she claims, "I'm the Sizzy queen and you need my approval", I'm pretty sure that she just wants a sneak peek. :) I plan to post it tomorrow!~~~
