Simon rolled over on his side, getting up after Izzy pinned him to the floor. "You know we have somewhere to be today."
"You're only saying that because you dont want to lose to a girl," she flipped her hair over her shoulder then lent a hand down to him.
"we need to buy a present Iz. I know that you wont go over there without a present for the baby." he smiled and grabbed her hand, slinging his arm over her shoulder leading her out.
"ive already got Charlotte a present!" she squeled then grabbed his hand to run down the hall of the New York institue, which was still writen in her mothers name but would soon be given to her, Alec, and Simon. Although Alec primaraly lived in Magnus' apartment, the Clave was lead to think that Alec still lved in the institute, which in reality he hardly went to.
"Remind me why they named her Charlotte? Its pretty, but i never thought they would go for something so-" he struggled for a word.
"pretty?"
"old-fasioned,"
"oh come on, Jace was raised to apriciate things how they had once been, books, history, names."
"so what, he got the name out of a textbook?"
"no, when Jace and Clary were looking for names they talked to Tessa and she thought Charlotte was beautiful."
They grabbed there present and slung coats around themselves so that they could meet Magnus and Alec to portal to the manor.
