Izzy dragged Simon and a tiny pink bag with a heart-shaped tag the said, To baby Charlotte, toward Magnus and Alecs apartment. She knocked, and heard jumbling around as the door opened, Alec was behind it.

"Wheres Magnus?" She asked Alec as she sat nest to Simon on the counch.

"He's... uhh.." Alec started.

"I'm right here!" Magnus said apearing in the doorway, wearing bright red pants and button up shirt that she would expect in maybe Jaces closet, but then again she tried not to guess too much on Magnus' limits.

The portal was set and everyone had their gifts so they started to make their way through the swirling blue mass.

Alec first, then Izzy and Simon, and lastly Magnus, leaving Chairmen Meow to guard the apartment.

They came to a stop outside the gates of the Glass City, made their way through (which, because Magnus was on the Counsel, was easier than it would be with a downworlder) to the other side and to the edge of town. There was quite a long walk, but none of them minded the cool autumn air.

They made small talk for awhile, then when the first few manor houses came into sight they decided they had nothing good to talk about other than being able to meet the baby, they couldn't say anything about her, they didn't know her.

The only things they knew were what Clary or Jace had told them on the phone, they weren't even told that she was born with gold eyes unlike most newborns who have blue eyes when they're born.

They passed more manors, and eventually found an especially large one, framed with beautiful plants and cobblestones, even a few statues of various poets, the fact that it was the Herondale Manor was evident before you could even see the large heron on the front door.

The gates were open, inviting them in. Alec walked to the door and knocked twice, loudly.

For a moment they stood outside, shivering not from the air but from anticipation, and starring at each other.

Finally, the door opened.

Two small figures, both with red hair (one sleeping in the others arms) invited them in.

"Jace!" Clary called up the stairs.

When the others walked in taking in the beautiful golds and pallets of the home they were shocked.

Old paintings hung on the wall, each had names beneath them, two looked familiar to Alec, but he decided to follow the others to the living room rather than try to debunk why he would recognize ancestors.

"So this is the baby!" Izzy softly hugged Clary, not enough to squeeze the baby, and then cooed at the infant who was, in fact, still asleep.

"Yes, Charlotte." Clary smiled.

"Charlotte Joy," someone said from the doorway, Jace. He was smiling and wearing a white button-up, you could see runes under his shirt, and a pair of jeans.

"Her name is beautiful!" Izzy squealed.

They all sat, Magnus, Izzy, Simon and Clary on furniture, and Jace and Alec sat next to each other on the floor between Clary and Magnus' legs.

There was an hour of catching up, mostly about killing things and watching things be born (or in Clarys case actually being too busy to watch).

After awhile little waking up noises were made, and Clary looked down at the baby, who was struggling to open her eyes.

Everyone froze, and Jace got up to stand behind Clary.

When the baby finally opened her eyes she was greeted with a whole new world.

~~~ okay how much do you like it? I'm going on a vacation and the car ride will be about 13 hours long (which is okay because I like car rides) I won't post then but maybe I'll be able to write a few chapters in the notes section of my phone.
Also:
Comment a few books I should take with me! Nothing too popular but not something no ones heard of!
Ily!~~~
