Unbreakable

Chapter Four

My friends leave and I'm left alone in enemy territory.

A hand is still on my head until my team mates are completely out of sight.

"So, you surrender to me, huh? The man attached to the hand says as he squats in front of me to look in my eyes. He brushes a strand out of my face and looks intently at me. It makes me feel so uneasy and uncomfortable. I shudder and look away. "That's good. Life will be so much better for you if you just do as you're told."

Suddenly, I'm harshly pulled onto my feet then am dragged toward the diner by the hand firmly in my head.

"What do you want from me?" I ask as he throws me onto the tiled floor. He ignores my question and turns toward a vending machine, pressing some buttons. Unexpectedly, a secret passage is revealed as the vending machine slide out of the way. "I won't tell you anything!"

He just chuckes then grabs my hair again and drags me down the tunnel. We enter an elevator shaft and start moving down below ground. We finally reach the bottom, and walk down a short hallway.

I take in my surroundings as I look up. The lair is built in a cylinderic format. There are railings on each level, and there are five levels. The one we are currently on is obviously some sort of training area. The circle is split into four parts, which are separated by glass windows.

One section has gym equipment. There are people working out in there right now. Another section looks like it's used for martial arts training. It has punching bags and a mat. The third section has a computer and some other technical equipment. It must be a simulator. The final section has an obstacle course in it and people are training in there aswell. They dodge obstacles and fight robots until they reach the finish line. One of the people in the obstacle course section notices us and comes in our direction.

"Master!" He says politely before quickly bowing.

"We got what we wanted, Slash. Take her to a holding cell!" The man still holding my hair tightly orders.

"Yes, right away, Master!" And with that, I am pulled into the elevator and go up a level. This floor only has rooms and holding cells.

I'm carelessly thrown into a cell. It is damp, cold and completely made of concrete. Great, I'm a prisoner and this place sucks!

"Master will be here soon," the man known as Slash tells me.

I wonder what he has in store for me. It doesn't seem like he wants information. If not that, then what?

I decide to get comfortable; well, as comfortable as I can. And before I know it, I fall asleep.
