"Scarls do we really need this many eggs?" Chris asked over the phone. He was currently grocery shopping for a few items. Scarlett recently developed a need to make a ton of different sweets which resulted in quick grocery runs.

"Two dozen cartons sounds like a lot..." he mumbled softly once he realized his mistake.

"Oh yeah, yeah that makes more sense," he replied while putting 24 cartons of eggs back.

"So just two cartons right, that makes two dozen eggs?" He asked again.

Chris unlocked the door to their shared home before being greeted by their three dogs, who surprisingly, got along well.

"Hey guys," Chris smiled as they attacked him with kisses.

"You guys wouldn't happen to know what Scarlett's making would you?" He questioned jokingly; however, the clattering of trays gave him a general idea on what she was doing.

"Hey Scarls,"Chris smiled as he entered the messy kitchen.

"Thank god your here. I've come up with a brilliant solution to make more cookies in less time," she replied hastily while taking the eggs.

"Really? Last time you had a brilliant idea you nearly burned down the house, and that was only a few hours ago," he replied with a grin causing her to pout in fake betrayal.

"Okay that might be true but, listen," she continued, Chris nodded telling her he would here her out.

"Okay so we can either bake these cookies at 400 degrees for ten minutes or 4,000 degrees for one minute,"

"Scarlett that's not how cookies work," he warned.

"Floor it!?"

"NO!"

"What about 4,000,000 degrees in one second!" Scarlett continued.

"Scarlett NO!"

"In the future, maybe not now, you'll realize that what I did was for your own good," Chris responded softly as Scarlett sniffled.

"We could have made a ground breaking discovery Chris, you took that away from me," she replied.

"Scarlett I'm being serious when I say this, you wouldn't have lived to showcase your discovery had you pulled through with it," Chris chuckled. Scarlett sniffled one last time before nodding.

"You're not wrong, but god what is up with me. How many times have you gone to the store today?" Scarlett asked.

"Nothings wrong, I don't mind making those quick trips for you. You seem really happy, I'm happy to do it if it makes you happy," he grinned causing her to smile.

"Chris that was so cheesy, what chick flick did you hear that from," she replied jokingly.

"You know what I mean," he replied. "I'll do anything for you, just know that," he paused before placing his hand on her swollen tummy.

"Scarls, were gonna be parents, can you believe it?" He looked up at her to see her smiling.

"I know Chrissy, I know," she nodded.

"I think we should have a boy, I mean I'll be ecstatic if we have a girl too but I think that if we did have a girl she'll be too over powered you know? With her mother's charm, and all around awesomeness, she might you know enslave, tantalize and plague the entire opposite sex with how great she is," Chris concluded earning a questioning look from his fiancé.

"Okay? I mean that sounds a bit far-fetched but sure it's possible," Scarlett laughed at the thought.

"I'm only messing with you, I'll love them no matter what," Chris concluded before attacking Scarlett with kisses.

"Chrissy stop," she giggled.

"You love this," he nudged her lightly.
