"You're are so weird Scarlett, you know that?" Chris smiled wholeheartedly at her as she beamed with excitement.

"Yeah, I've been told," she nodded before let out a nervous sigh.

"You okay?" Asked Chris. She sent him a cute nervous smile while he responded by smiling genuinely.

"Oh is Scarls nervous?" Chris lightly nudged her shoulder. She sheepishly smiled as her face flushed. Scarlett covered her face with her hands to prevent him from seeing her.

"I know it's stupid, I've met your family before but I just feel nervous all of a sudden," she mumbled.

"My mom loves you, plus Scott really wants to see you again so that's a plus," Chris replied. "They love you Scarlett, my sister can not stop talking about you," Chris confirmed. "I-In a good way that is," he corrected.

"And we're having a Star Wars marathon?" She beamed.

"Well..." he mumbled quietly causing her smile to instantly fall.

Chris bursted into laughter to her confusion, she tilted her head slightly waiting for any context.

"I'm sorry, you looked so sad, oh god no we are watching Star Wars don't worry," he let out a short breath.

"That's not funny," she pouted.

"Aww you're cute," he responded sheepishly while shoving his hands into his pockets.

"Oh man is Chrissy nervous?"

"Shut up..."

"Chris you finally brought her!" Squealed his sister Carly.

"Jesus Carly not in my ear," Chris responded.

"I'm sorry, God I love her. She's so much better than what's her face...Minka was it," Carly commented.

"Yeah, and honestly same, I love her too," Chris replied.

Carly began talking about god knows what; however, Chris's gaze fixed onto Scarlett. She was talking to Scott who was in the middle of telling her embarrassing stories about Chris.

Chris ignored the little jolt in his heart when she started laughing, he watched her intently as she did so. Her laugh causing a giddy feeling in his chest, God she's cute he thought to himself.

"Chris you're a hopeless romantic," his sister commented.

"I know," he nodded with a smile.

Scarlett watched Star Wars: A New Hope along with most of Chris's family. She snuggled closer to Chris while he wrapped his arm around her.

"That's my mom," Scarlett commented when Leia appeared on screen. Chris's family unknowingly brushed off the comment thinking it was just another one of her jokes.

Chris smiled as he shook his head and he looked at Scarlett, she turned to him and wore a goofy smile.

"What?" She asked.

Chris shook his head before returning his gaze onto to the movie once again.

"Nothing,"
