I was laying in the lake house with my head on Lucifer’s lap. He was drawing little swirls on my forehead with his finger while he hummed some kind of song.

“I still don’t like it.” He said at length. I sighed and sat up.

“Luc, I don’t actually care whether you like it or not. I needed change so I changed. The whole point was that I didn’t want to be me. I was tired of Angela. So I changed.” I said. He laughed and pulled me to his side, placing me on his lap and laying a kiss on my cheek. I smiled a bit and wrapped my arms around his neck. He had been visiting me every night for the past month since Cas had left. I wanted him around. Devil or no he was the only person completely honest with me anymore. I could always trust him to be honest because he is always going to be dishonest and lies to me about how he is really actually fierce and cruel. He hasn’t proved it yet.

He suddenly flipped me over so I was laying on my back and he was on top of me, kissing the length of my neck and murmuring into my skin. I shivered and he bit me playfully. I gasped and bucked, making him sit up. I sat up as well placing a hand over the spot. He smirked at me and curled a finger through my hair.

“You know, it actually does look nice.” He said. He kissed my cheek and walked out the door. I sighed when he left and buried my face in the pillow.

Dad called to me from downstairs and I got up. I brushed out my hair and ruffled it a bit, pulling on my polka dot dress and flats Dad had gotten for me last birthday. I slipped in a pair of pearl earrings and matching necklace and bracelet. I spun in the mirror and smiled at my reflection. I quickly did some light make up and walked gracefully down the staircase, one hand on the rail. I got to the landing and looked at the living room. There was Dad looking at me in that funny way he had all month, and Dean and Sam standing awkwardly in doorway. They turned to look at me and their jaws hit the floor. I smiled and pushed my short blonde curls away from my face and skipped over to Sam, pulling him into a tight hug.

“Ooh! Sammy! It’s sooo good to see you! It’s been forever!” I said in a chipper tweet. I grabbed Dean and hugged him too. “You guys have to tell me absolutely everything! Oh wait, let me get some drinks.” I said flouncing to the kitchen. Yeah, major personality change, but I had wanted change, and I made some. I got out the beer and some glasses from the cabinet as the boys talked. They were whispering so they were talking about me. I placed the drinks on a tray and walked into the room. I set the tray down and sat on the couch, pulling Sam with me. “Now, tell me everything.” I said beaming.

So Sam told me he was destined to be Lucifer’s vessel, and I have to admit, they do look a lot alike, and that Dean had gone into the future and it was Croatoan chaos. When he got to the part about Cas being a hippy orgy king I laughed uncontrollably. Cas? High and sexing it up? No. Then they told me about a murderous Paris Hilton and I realized just how much I missed out on when I wasn’t with the boys. I listened to their adventures kind of wistfully until Dean looked at me.

“Actually there’s a strange killing up in Nebraska, and we want you to come. It’s been weeks since you went hunting and we want you to help us on this one.” He said like it was a real treat. I thought for a moment. It would be nice to road trip with the boys, but I had other things in mind. I didn’t want to hunt anymore. I shook my head.

“No. I couldn’t leave Dad in his state and the house is a total wreck. If you two are going to be popping in and out every time a demons shows up, this place needs to maintain a representable appearance.” I said. Dean looked at me like I was crazy. Then Sam pointed something out.

“Where are your wings?” he asked. I grinned at him.

“I have another cloak for them.” I said showing him the bracelet on my wrist. It was smooth and white, kind of shiny like a cuff. It looked dainty and bold at the same time. Lucifer had given it to me when I showed him my new hair. He said it would match my eyes. He was right. Sam nodded and looked at me carefully.
