My eyes stinged as the wind blew in my face as I stared all around me, asking myself why was I doing this, when I knew things won't work well for me, "what did you wanted to tell me?" Dell asked, climbing on the roof beside me, completely shirtless, which made me even more sad about what's going to happen, "I need to tell you something that might change everything between us," I whispered to him, looking at his eyes, "Why would you say that?" He chuckled nervously, handing me a can of pop, the coldness numbing my hand, "Dell... I'm... gay...." I let out, my heart thumping madly.

Dell stood up, the pop falling out of his hand, "D-Dell look-" "no! Get away from me, you disgusting fag!" Dell bellowed, as I jumped down the roof, scraping my knee on the ground, looking back, watching him throw the can my way, as I ran to my car, and drove off, feeling tears well up in my eyes, knowing things has changed, already getting that Dell will tell the whole town about me.

I climbed back into my room, wishing everything will disappear, just wanting things not to be the way it is, I crashed down onto my bed, my mind all over the place, 'Why did this happen, why couldn't he keep that to himself, then things would've stayed normal' I thought, going over what Jx told me, wanting to make since of it all, but coming up with nothing, "why... he's my best friend, but how am I suppose to look him in the eye... he's g-gay," I whispered to myself, closing my eyes.
