I was a bit surprised to see only a couple of members, "the district is trying to take away the music program, but of course I refuse, but even I know my protest won't help, but we have chance to change that if we win the State National Competition, then we'll have enough funds to revive our music program, to get  new instrument, stands, and music, so we have to at least get in third place," Mr. Rogers explained, taking a seat at the center of the room, "oh...I can't even imagine not having music, so I'll work hard!" I said, feeling more motivated than ever, "that's what I'm looking for, now let me introduce you to the rest of the members," he said, clearing his throat, getting everyone's attention.

"I like to introduce Tala Jones, our newest member, and she plays the violin," he said, as some greeted me, "Mable is the one with pink hair, the guy in the blue cap is Jordan, that's Jaylen, then next to him is Micky, on the far left is Norbit and finally Harry." Mr. Rogers continued, pointing at each member, "you can take a seat next to Mable, then we'll get started; I set my stuff down, taking the empty seat next to Mable, "it's nice to meet you Tala, as you know I'm Mable, and if you need anything just ask," she said, smiling brightly at me, before looking back at the front.
