Jacky -
My face was still red after I left Tala's house, my mind all over the place as I drove to my own home, wanting to take a nice long steamy shower before hitting the bed once I get there, wanting the night to be over so I can her again in the morning, so we can maybe talk some more; I pulled up to the drive way, dread sitting at realising my parents are home, 'let's hope they don't ask me about my day or Tala, then things will surely not work in my favor' I thought, unlocking the door.
I walked right in, hearing the loud of the news echoing around, "Jacky is that you?" My mother called, as I walked into the living room, seeing my mother reading some kind of book, and my father reading today's newspaper, "ya," I responded back, leaving my shoes at the door, "ok, well we'll only be here for about two days tops, then we will have to leave for Paris," my father told me, not putting down the paper, "Oh ok, well I'll be up in my room," I replied, running up the stairs to my room, throwing my bag by the bathroom door, before collapsing onto my bed, my head still swirling with the thought of Tala, just wanting to press my lips against hers and touch her, just aching, wishing things weren't so complicated, then maybe, "don't think about it right now," I whispered to myself, not wanting to feel the overbearing ache in my chest.
There was a knock at my door, jolting me away from my thoughts, "come in!" I yelled, sitting up on my bed, "I just wanted to see if your ok, you seemed a bit absent minded," my mother said, coming into my room, "oh, yea, sorry...I was just thinking about school, and how the year went by so fast," I somewhat lied, yawning, hoping she'll take the hint, "well ok then, don't stress things out, you should get some rest, you look exhausted," she said, shutting the door behind her.
