I was laying down on my couch, going over my notes for the upcoming tests for the end of the year, already wanting to whack myself with a baseball bat, as I reread my notes for about the tenth time; I was suddenly startled by the pounding on my door, as I jumped up from my resting place, and ran towards the door, looking through the peephole, seeing Jx, at the other side, I opened up the door, letting him in, "what's wrong Jx, have you been crying?" I asked him, concerned, locking the door before taking a seat next to him, "I'm s-sorry, its... I just came from Dell's house, I...I wanted to tell him something," he stuttered, putting his head in his hands, "what did you tell him?" I asked, feeling even more worried, "please don't hate me... but... I'm gay, a big fag, and I don't even know why I wanted tell him, or why I'm telling you, but I don't know who else to tell," he cried, as I stared at him in shock, taking in what he just said, "and to make it worse, I'm in love with him, but now he hates me," he whispered, avoiding eye contact.

I didn't know what to say, as I watch him cry, but I soon found the words I needed, "it's ok, I understand most of what you feel... I'm different too, and I'm betting you know who I'm crushing on," I told him, looking at the mess on the floor, "huh... looks like we're both in the same boat," he chuckled dryly, wiping away his tears, "yea, I guess we are," I responded, hugging him tight.

"Ok, so do you want to eat some ice cream, my treat," I said, getting up, "you know I want some!" He exclaimed, following me to the kitchen.
