We are finally here! The ride took hours with several gas station stops along the way. As we drive up to Jerome's summer/vacation house I looked around and find the beautiful blue lake he was talking about earlier. Ian was right, this was going to be the best summer ever. Skyler and Jerome are sleeping in the back of the car, I was driving and Ian was in the passenger seat. "Turn here, in this driveway." He whispers. I turn left into Jerome's driveway and see his beautiful 2 story log cabin. It has 4 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms. It also had a balcony wrapped around the front of the cabin, going to the the back of the house.

I park in the driveway and put my finger to my mouth, "Shh..." I nod my head towards Skyler and Jerome. Jerome has been driving all day and Sky doesn't feel the best. So I decide to let them sleep while we get everything put away inside. I grab Jerome's bags, along with mine and head inside. I could hear Bacca barking from inside. Bacca is Jerome's dog, he is a Pomsky, a Pomeranian and Husky Mix.

I set down the bags and let Bacca lick my face. I smile and laugh as Bacca jumps onto Ian. Jerome and Ian lived here while they were in school a few years ago. Jerome moved to North Carolina for an amazing job offer so he kept the house here as a vacation home.

When he isn't around his Aunt Ashley comes and takes care of Bacca. "I guess someone missed you Ian!" He looked at me and smiles, "I guess so..." We laughed and I carry me and Jerome's bags into our room.

I should probably go wake up Jerome now. It's about 5 p.m., we'll probably have dinner soon. "Do you want to come out to the car with me? I'm going to wake up Jerome and I wasn't sure if you wanted to wake up Skyler." I ask Ian. "I'll come with you but I'm not going to wake up Sky yet, since she doesn't feel so well. I'll just pick her up and bring her to our room." I nod and smile, this is exactly why I think he will make a great dad. We smile at each other and walk out the front door.

I open the car door and kiss Jerome on the forehead. His eyes flutter open and he smiles. He lifts his hand and starts stroking my hair. "Did you have nice dreams?" I ask. We both smile. "It's funny you mention that." He smiles and lowers my head so my ear is by his mouth. "She told me." He whispers.

I stare at him. How could Sky tell Jerome and not tell Ian? "But..." I look at Jerome. "But she was sleep talking, I wasn't sure if she was telling the truth or not. But the way you are reacting kind of gave it away. It all makes sense now. I just don't understand why you didn't tell me..." He looks up at me. "I didn't tell you because she hasn't told Ian yet."

"She hasn't told Ian yet? Why hasn't she told him!" He sounded concerned. "Does she want to break up with him?" I felt my eyes grow big. "No! No, she doesn't want to break up with him, she loves him. The reason she doesn't want to tell him is that she thinks..." I hesitated and took a deep breath. Jerome hugged me and kissed me on my forehead, "She thinks, that... he'll make her get an abortion." I hold my breath and wait for his comment.

Jerome looks a little mad. "Ian would never ask her to do that. Trust me, I've been his friend for years, he's like my brother. And I know for a fact that he would never ask her to do something like that. He loves her."

I rub his back. "She isn't thinking right, she's scared, she know's he wouldn't ask that, okay?," He nods. "I'm sorry I blew up at you but Ian is a awesome guy. Let's go inside, they're probably waiting for us." He smiles and takes my hand. "Just promise me one thing? Pretend like she never told you that, okay?" He nods and I kiss him.
