(Ty's POV)
I walk out if the room and into the bathroom in the hallway. I kneel down next to the toilet and memories come flooding back from that horrible night. I was 7, and I heard a knock on our front door. I turn off the TV and open the door. Two police were standing in front of me, one man one woman.
"My mom and dad aren't here right now." I smile at the police. The woman takes a deep breath and the man looks down. I frown, "Your name is Ty Waters, right?" I nod and the woman takes my hand. "Your parents and brother died in a car crash." I stare at them.
"No! No, they were just going to my grandmas funeral! They, they said they would be here soon!" I scream at the police, tears streaming down my face. "Hun, their dead. You need to come with us now." The man grabs my arm and I fight back, "No, you're lying! They will be back any second!"
I finally give up after about two minutes and they take me to the police car. They put me in the back and I quietly cry. I stare out the window as we drive. We stop somewhere and I look up expecting it to be the police station but I see an old house. I look at a sign above the door 'Sunny's Orphanage' is written on it.
I close my eyes for a little bit. When I open them I am back in the bathroom. I puke and stand up as I hear a knock on the door. I'm a little wobbly at first but then I can stand properly. I immediately stop crying as I hear a knock on the door. "Um, one, one second."
I stare at myself in the mirror and turn the sink on. I cup my hand and put them under the cold water, bringing them up to my mouth. I swish the water around a little then spit the water out. I take a deep breath and walk out of the bathroom.
