(Skyler's POV)
We walk into room 212 and a man, Dr.James, is sitting down at a table. He waves us over and we sit. "So what you like to know about Rain's situations?" "We," Ian starts but I can't help it and interrupt him, "Is she going to be okay?" Dr.James breaths in, "Well she is in Cardiac Arrest, only about 10-20% of people survive this." I stare at him, I see Ian get up and come towards me. He wraps his arms around me but I don't feel him, I don't feel anything.
(Ian's POV)
I hug Skyler with shaking hands, tears forming in my eyes. She just stands in my arms, staring ahead. I understand what's happening and I catch her right when her knees buckle.
I carry her to a room and set her down on the bed. I hold her hand while Dr.James check's her blood pressure and some other things. You're going to be okay. I promise, to both of you. Dr.James check's her heart beat and frowns, "That's weird, I think I hear two different heartbeats."
I look at him, "That's baby Dawn or baby Mitch." He smiles, "Congratulations. Skyler will be okay, she must have just passed out because she was so stressed. The baby is also fine." He shakes my hand, "You will be a wonderful father Mr. Jones. I will leave you alone, so when she wakes up you two can talk." He turns around and walks out the door.
