A Family At Last

(Ty's POV)

"I'd like to know who you two are, what your names are, your favorite color, how old you are, etc." The man smiles, "My name is Ian, my favorite color is red, I'm 20 years old, I love dogs and my favorite food is pizza." He squeezes the girls hand. "My name is Skyler, I love yellow, I am also 20 years old, dogs are my favorite animal and my favorite food is salad..." She laughs.

Ian's car comes to a stop, at a gigantic house. All I can do is stare at it. Ian smiles, "You like it don't you?" I nod. "Great because this is where you'll be staying for a while. Come on." I walk between Skyler and Ian while we walk inside. I yell as something furry attacks me. "Help! Get it off!" Ian laughs, "Its just Bacca, my friends dog." He tells Bacca to get off.

I smile while looking at the dog, he was big and furry. Skyler reaches out her hand again and I take it. "Thank you." I laugh. I hear footsteps coming from downstairs, "Hey, are you guys okay? I heard yelling." The voice is from a man. I hide behind Skyler.

He stops when he sees me. "Who is that?" He turns toward Ian. Ian walks over to me, "Jerome, this is Ty. He ran away from his orphanage and needs our help." Jerome smiles, "Hello Ty, do you want to get cleaned up? We can go buy you some clothes if you want. I won't hurt you." He smiles and I come out from behind Skyler.

I nod, "I'd love that. Thank you." He nods, "So what is your shirt and pant size. Oh, also your shoe size." I look at him, these are the clothes I brought from home, the only clothes I have. There are holes in them and they are dirty. "I am size 10 for shirts and for pants, It's 12 and my shoe size is 10."

He smiles, "Okay, I'll show you to the shower." He gestures for me to follow him and I do. We go down stairs and make a right then a left. "Here it is and the towels are in that drawer." He points to a drawer. "Thank you for all of this." I smile and hug him. He is surprised at first then he hugs me back.
