A Family At Last

The nightmare

"Is she still sleeping?" I ask Ian while walking inside. "Yea, why?" Jerome looks at me, "I wanted to see how she was feeling..." That was partly true, I also needed to talk to her about her baby. "Well if you wanted to, you could go and wake her up, dinner is almost ready... ask if she feels well enough to eat, okay?" I nod and walk towards their room.

When I walk inside I shut the door behind me. Maybe I shouldn't wake her up, we could talk about this when she fells better. I was about to walk out when she started breathing heavily and started freaking out. "Sky, wake up, your having a nightmare." I shake her shoulder, "Sky, wake up!"

Next thing I know, I'm lying on the floor with a throbbing head. I reach up and touch my forehead, I wince. Jerome is at my side now, "Rain! Are you okay? What happened?" He looks at my head and I could tell something was wrong. He ran into our bathroom and puked. I must be bleeding because he hates blood.

Ian runs into the room after Skyler bolts to the bathroom, "Rain are you okay?" I fell dizzy and Jerome walks back in. "I feel a little dizzy, otherwise I'm fine." They both reach out their hands and I grab them, but as soon as I stand up, my knees buckle and I start to fall. Jerome grabs my waist, pulling me onto the bed.

"Okay, maybe that wasn't such a good idea. Here, put you arms around me and Ian's shoulders." Ian lowers himself so I can put my arm around him. "Thanks." I try to smile at them but my head hurt so much. They practically carried me to my room, they set me down on the bed. "Do you need us to call 9-1-1?" I shake my head. "Ian, shouldn't you be with Skyler right now? You should make sure she's okay."

He nods, "I'll be right back." He looks down. I fell bad for him, he doesn't know why she's acting like this, but I do. I struggle to get up but Jerome stops me. "You need to lie down and get some rest. Me and Ian will go talk to her, okay?" But I know she won't talk to them, she only wants to talk to me.
