(Jerome's POV)

I watch Ian walk out of the room and smile. He is just an awesome friend. I sit up and wait for him to come back. I hear a knock on my door and Skyler comes in. "Hey," She is grinning and Ian comes in about 30 seconds after her and following him is my doctor. "Guess what... you can finally get out of this room!" She yells.

Ian grabs Skyler from behind pulling her from behind into a hug and she laughs. I look at Dr. Koopman and he nods. I smile with excitement as he takes wires and other stuff off of me. "You're free to go and if you don't feel good just call me." He hands me his card and leaves.

Ian and Skyler help me up and make sure I can walk without them. "I know that we shouldn't leave, but we should go home and get some clothes that actually fit us. When Rain wakes up she doesn't want to see us in hospital clothes, right?" I look at them and they both nod, "I don't want to leave her but you're right she can't see us like this." Skyler just nods.

We walk out to my car and Ian drives us back to my vacation home. I takes a while to get there but when we get there we all take a deep breath. This is where it all happened, Ian called some people to help get the blood stains out. They did a good job. But I won't forget what happened.

I grab some fresh clothes and bring them in the bathroom. "Do you guys mind if I use the shower first?" I yell from downstairs. "That's fine, I think me and Skyler are going to take a walk. If you need anything just call us, okay?" Ian yells back. "Okay, have fun." I take off my clothes and get into the shower.

I hear the door shut and I stare at the wall. When Rain is okay I'll take her down to the beach and ask her the big question. I've been waiting for the perfect moment to ask her but... that has not happened yet. Her ring is engraved with our motto. I'd love to start a family with her, we have been best friends since kindergarten. I remember when she gave me a rock that said 'Forever and Always.' It is our motto.
