A Family At Last

Forever and Always

(Ian's POV)

We found a cheap-ish hotel and are on our way back now. It's about 7 minutes away from the hospital. "It would have been my fault, if she died." I hear Skyler whisper. I squeeze her hand, "She's not dead though. She lived." I don't look at her but I can feel her smile, "She's the 10%" I smile.

We park at the hospital and go to room 314. "I'll be in there soon, I have to use the bathroom." She nods, "Okay, see you in a bit." She turns and walks into Rains room. I walk to the bathroom and see it's locked. I hear crying and I decide to knock on the door.

The crying stops as soon as I knock on the door. "Uh, one... one second." I hear from the other side of the door. That voice sounded familiar... I hear the water run then a few seconds later the door opened.

"Ty?" He stares at me with red eyes. I pull him into a one armed hug, "What's wrong?" I looks down, "Just promise that you won't leave me. That we will be family for a long, long time." I look at him. "I promise that we won't ever leave you, you're family, forever and always."

"Do you want to calm down for a bit or do you want to go back inside?" I smiles, "I assume you have to use the bathroom otherwise you wouldn't have knocked, so I'll calm down until your done then we can go inside together." I nod and walk into the bathroom.

Once I'm done I wash my hands and go out of the bathroom. I look around to see Ty sitting on a bench by Rain's room. Once he sees me he stands up. "Are you ready?" He nods and I go into Rain's room first, Ty following behind me.
