Audrey's Pov

'This isn't gonna end well' I think to myself as I go back out to my car to get my camera. 'Why would I go to dinner with Gavin!?' I mutter to myself. "WHAT THE FUCK?!" I yell out as I watch Gavin Reed smash my passenger window. "Now you have to take your car to the body shop! You have to come with me now!" He says dropping the metal rod that was in his hand.

'Calm down Audrey... it's no big deal.' Something in my head whispers to me. 'What was that?' I question myself as I hold my necklace in a tight fist. That voice helped me. "Listen Reed, I'm not going with you! Just go ahead and take the hint, go away and kiss the ground!" I say collecting my nerves, "y'know I thought you might get all angry or sad, I guess your a tough cookie to crack. I'll see you tonight~" he calls with a perverted smirk on his face.

'Oh hell no.' I say and walk back inside, forgetting about the camera and going to file a complaint to Fowler.

I go inside and walk my way to Fowler's office, just as he called out, "Hank, Audrey! In my office."

I walk into his office to see Hank and Connor. "Hi Audrey." Connor says to me. "Hi..." I say with slight annoyance in my voice. He cocked his head to the side, probably confused on why I'm so pissed off about. Gotta say, when he does that, it's kinda cute..

"I get at least ten different cases involving androids on my desk everyday. At first they were old ladies losing their android maids. But now, I'm getting assaults and even homicides. I want the both of you to investigate them, and see if you can find a link." He tells us. "Fine by me." I say blankly, knowing Hank is probably gonna complain, I space out. When I come back to reality, Hank is storming out the door.

Connor decided to speak up by saying, "I'm very pleased to have joined the team-" he was cut off. "Close the door in your way out." Fowler says without looking up. Connor stood there for a second, looked at me then left me and the captain alone.

"I would like to file a complaint on Gavin Reed. He smashed my passenger window." I say after a long silence. "Okay. I'll inform him that he has two weeks of suspension." "I want you to make him pay for the damage repair! After all he did smash it in." I retorted. "I can't do that Audrey. I know you don't like him, but I'll just dock it off his paycheck. Okay?" He says, finally looking up from his computer. "Fine." I say and leave the room.

I walk over to my desk to see Connor jolt from how loud my music is. "It's classic piano.." he says to no one in particular. "It's one of my favourite. It keeps me from to much stress." I tell him. He looks at me and asks, "Can I ask you a personal question? It's about that photo." He says putting down the music player.

'He saw it.' I hear the voice say to me.

"What about the picture?" I say while trying to keep my nerves calm. "It says how you are deceased, but you aren't. Why is that?" He asks, looking at me up and down like he was analyzing me. "I.... I can't say that here. Not now either." I say with a nervous tone. "I might tell you later. Okay?" I say to him. 'Why did I say that!?' I yell in my head. "Okay, we can pick the topic up later." He says and sits down in the chair beside my desk.

I sit down in my own chair and put my headphones on, and listen to the soft sounds of the piano playing the melody I found so mesmerizing.

After a moment or so, I begin to call the repair shop nearby. "Hi, can I have my passenger window repaired this afternoon?" I say to the person on the other end. "Sure, that will be $34.67. What is your name, and the address you want ya to show up at?" "My name is Audrey Pace, and I am at the Detroit police station." I tell them. "Alright, we will be on our way soon." "Alright, thanks.. bye." I say and hang up.

I look to see Connor staring at me and smiling. 'Why was that so damn cute? Oh god, am I falling for an Android?!' I think to myself as I show a very small smile.

(Hi! So, the chase scene will probably be in the next chapter, so be prepared for that. And then after that, will be the dreaded 'date' with Gavin.... I am trying to have as many moments between Audrey and Connor as I can add, but I need some scenarios suggestions. So if you have any, put them in the comments! See you all in the next chapter!)
