Love for Calamity (Connor x OC reader)

A little bit of help bever hurt...

Audrey's Pov.

We walked out of the elevator, and Chris was the first to speak up. "Hey Hank, Doctor." "Hey Chris. Shit... what's going on here? There was a party and nobody told us about it?" Hank said sarcastically. "Yeah, it's all over the news, so everybody's butting their nose in. Even the FBI want a piece of the action." Chris informed. 'Oh wonderful.... Now we have the feds on our backs.., I knew this was gonna be a rough day...' I mutter to myself as I watched the FBI people and police officers walk around.

I took my evidence writer, and asked, "So, what do we have?" "A group of four androids. They cake in here, unnoticed, and demanded equal rights and all that crap." Chris says while I type it down. 'I know I'm supposed to stop them.... but what if I'm on the wrong side?' I thought to myself as I took pictures of the bullet holes.

Suddenly I felt like I was being stared at by two people. I look to the right, and see that Connor was staring at me. He met my gaze and looked away to analyze blue blood. 'Okay... now who else is watching me...' I mutter as I look to the left. 'Oh.. him...' I mumble with disgust as I see that Alexander Huffman was the second one. He noticed my glare and winked. I shuddered.

"Are you alright Audrey? You seem cold." Connor says from behind me. I jump slightly and turn to him. "I-I'm fine!.. umm, did you get anymore information?" I ask with a slight blush. "Yes. I have, it seems that one of them were injured during the shootout." He tells me as I recover from my blush, and type it down. "Thanks.." I say to him, but I also add, "I think I'll go check the roof. To see if there is anything there." And walk towards the door, only to have my wrist grabbed by Connor. I blush a bright red. I see Hank over by the door, smirking at me. I shoot him a glare and turn to Connor. "Yes?" "Please be careful... I don't want you getting hurt.." he says to me and let's go. "I will, don't worry.." I say and smile. "If you see anything, yell for me." Connor says. 'He so fucking cute when he's concerned!' I yell in my head. "I will." I say and walk out the door.

I go out to the roof, to see that there were some storage boxes out here. "Guess I have to look into them.." I say as I walk to the one closest to me.

Empty.

I look into the next few to find them all empty. I finally look over to the last one, noticing the blue blood on it. I open the door, only to have a gun pointed to my head. "D-don't move! Or I'll shoot!" The deviant said in a hushed voice. I didn't move, just stood there.

After what seemed like an eternity, I said, "I have no intention to harm you, or turn you into the others. I was just "checking"" with air quotes. "H-how do I know your n-not lying?" He asked. "I'll throw my gun. I must warn you by the way, if you do shoot, the others will be alerted, and you will be killed, having me still alive. The bullet won't kill me." I tell him as I took my gun from the holster, and threw it behind me. Then put my hands back in the air.

I whisper over to him "if you want to leave, go through the back way. There should be a ladder around there you can use. The police won't check it, because there was no forced entry or exit there.... I'm gonna let you live. Go back home, or wherever you live." I say and back up, grab my gun and put it away. I then start to walk towards the door, but not before hearing him say, "Thank you, miss..," "Audrey." "Miss Audrey." I turn to him and smile. "Good luck with this plan you and the others have. I have you on full support." I say and walk in, letting him escape.

'So you're on their side? Nice! I like the way you support them.' Grace says to me. 'Yeah, only if Connor was a deviant, maybe he could accept my feelings...' I thought to her. 'Yeah... by the way... have you seen the way he looks at you? I swear he shows emotion, he just doesn't want to accept it!' Grace says with enthusiasm. 'Trust me! He will end up liking you! Just give it some time!' 'Yeah, thanks.' I say and walk back into the recording room, only to see an android walking out. 'Weird...'

Then I see that Connor comes walking out of the break room. He looked injured, but his chest was showing... have to admit... he was hot, but I was also concerned. "What the heck happened Connor? Are you alright?" I asked, following him. "The deviant, it attacked me. That's what was walking out. It left me to die.." he said and took the gun from my holster. I took action and said, "EVERYBODY GET DOWN!" Right before Connor shot it down.. he then gave me my gun back.

"What the hell..." Hank said, as he walked up to us. "You did good Connor." He says. "I wanted it alive. But I couldn't risk anyone getting hurt." Connor said. After that, we called out, and left to report what we had.
