Audrey's Pov

I wake up earlier than usual, and get dressed, the reason why is because I'm going to go and see Markus, the deviant leader. He needed my help. I brushed my hair and teeth, then got my sweater and put it on top of my shirt to keep warm, even though I don't need it.

I leave my room, only to see Connor sitting on the couch with his eyes closed. 'I've only seen him do that once.. I wonder if he does that for when we have a new case or for something else...' I mutter as I grabbed a granola bar. As I ate it, I drank a bottle of water to wash it down. (She doesn't like soda.. she likes tea, coffee, and water. Just to let you know.) I got a piece of paper and wrote a not down telling Connor that I'm meeting up with a friend, and that I wouldn't be back till later. I then stuck it in his pocket.

After all that, I put my boots on, (which I rarely wore) and headed to the port.

On my way there, I called Markus telling him I'm on my way, he understood, and we hung up. Once I got there, I was greeted by the Android I helped.

"I'm here to blindfold you, so that you don't disclose our location." He says and takes a cloth over my eyes, I had to remove my glasses though. "I completely understand. By the way, I never got you're name. Mind telling me so I can address you?" I ask, having a small smile on my face. "My name is Simon." He replied, it sounded as if he had a smile as well.

"Markus, I have her." Simon calls out, after directing me to where Markus was at. He sat me on a chair, and took the cloth off my eyes. I see Markus watching me as I put my glasses on with haste. "So your the one who helped some of our kind? Your pretty brave." He remarks with a small grin. But it soon went away.

"We need your help, or advise if you want. How can we help to other humans see that we aren't machines?" He asked with a stern face. I stood up and walked to where I could see the other deviants. "Public opinion. Get them to support you, and by doing that, you need a pacifist approach. This way, they can see you as an equal. Kinda like back when the races were separated. They would use peaceful protests, and calm approaches, soon they had their freedom." I said with a smile.

"I can help with it, by getting the all too famous 'Deviant Hunter' on our side. But that might take some time." I say, using air quotes. "You can? How?" He asks, confused. "Well, before I say anything else, I've noticed how I'm able to express myself more, which I couldn't do back before I met him. He opened my eyes. I believe I have fallen for him." I said, he looked at me, bewildered. "So far, I've started to notice how he has been becoming more and more emotional too. It's funny when he looks confused, adorable when he cocks his head, all that mess called love." I said with a slight blush. 'You're babbling, Audrey...' Grace muttered in my head. "Sorry, I started going off... it's a bad habit..." I mutter to Markus, as well as Grace.

"It's fine. But I wish you good luck with him." He said with a wink. "Thanks." I said. I noticed a female deviant walking in, she was glaring at me the whole time. "Hello." I say with a small wave. Markus and Simon look towards her. "I'm Audrey, I don't know if you knew already, it's nice to meet you." I say and put my hand out for her to shake. She only stared at it. Slowly, she shook it. "Name's North." She replies to me. She then sat beside Markus.

'Looks like she likes him, I think..' I say over to Grace. 'Agreed.' She says to me. I go back to where I could see the other deviants. I smiled, seeing the two I helped at the Eden Club, holding hands. I then hear my phone go off, I look at it to see Hank's number. He sent a text.

"Why the fuck is Connor here?"

"Ptthh." I go, trying to hold in a laugh. "What's the matter?" Simon goes. "Oh nothing, just my colleague asking why Connor was at his house. It was the way he put it." I say and show him. "He doesn't know that I'm here, and he must've went there for company. He does like coming in unannounced." I inform him. He chuckled. So did Markus. North cracked a smile. "Well, I wish I could stay longer, I would love to get to know you all, but, I have to go retrieve Connor, before Hank finds me.." I say and started to walk out, only to stop. "Could someone help me find the exit? I was clothed, so I couldn't see." I say as I scratched my neck.

"I'll help her." North says and walks towards me. "Bye guys! Hope you do well with this next plan of yours!" I say and walk with North.

Once we got to the exit, I turned to her and said, "thanks. Oh and by the way, you and Markus are really cute together." She blushed a blue colour. "Thanks. Good luck with Connor by the way." She mumbled and left. I smiled, then went to go find my car.

I was on my way back, when Grace suddenly told me to pull over to an abandoned house on the side of the road. 'Go in there. I think there's something there, something for you.' She goes. "Really, how?" 'I don't know. I just feel like you should take a look.' She says hurriedly. I was confused, but when in through a broken window.

I then blacked out.
