Audrey's Pov

It's the end of the day... we had a chase with a deviant, while me and Connor were chasing it, Hank almost fell. Connor helped me get him back on the roof without hurting him. Then the repair person came and fixed my window, but I decided to leave at my normal time. Now I have to deal with Gavin.... 'I'm gonna dread this damn dinner...' I mutter to myself along with a strand of curses. "Audrey! Stop mumblin... I know it's dinner with Gavin, but shit... I didn't think you hated him this much!" Hank says, "I can't hate.... it's not... right. No matter how annoying he is and all that shit, I just dislike him." I say. "Keep tellin yourself that.." he says and continues with his work.

10 minutes later, Gavin shows up with the all-knowing smirk. "See, I knew you would come around." He purred while making me look at him. Connor then decided to speak up by saying, "Detective Reed, you aren't supposed to be here, you have a two week suspension." 'Thank goodness he jumped in.' I sigh in relief. "I know that." He yelled, starting to get angry. I sigh, graves my stuff, and stood up. "Let's get this damn thing over with." I said irritated and walked out. Gavin was right behind me.

-time skip-

Not even 5 minuets into the drive to wherever the hell were going, Gavin decide to put his hand on my thigh. "I suggest you move your hand before you don't have one." I say blankly, but I still had a very irritated look on my face. "Oh yeah? What'll you do?" He asks me, now squeezing my thigh. "I'll take the knife in my pocket and use it. Are we clear?" I say and forcefully move his hand.

The rest of the ride was silent from then on. There was so much tension in the car, it was hard to breathe. 'This is your fault for threatening him...' the voice from this morning said to me. 'Who are you anyway!?' I scream in my head. I got no response from them.

We arrive at a fancy restaurant, "Well, I didn't think you would do this." I say to him. "I know, I made a reservation earlier. Good thing you did come with me. It would have been wasted." He told me while we walked in. 'He really outdid himself...' I mumble under my breathe.

We got to our table, and after a few minutes of waiting, we ordered and got our food. 'Why do I get the feeling that I'm being watched?' I think to myself. I look around to find no one I recognised. 'Weird..'

"So... about your window... I got frustrated with this morning and took my anger on it. I didn't even think about it. It just kinda happened. I'm sorry bout it." Gavin said, sincerely. "Okay, but why did you want me to have dinner with you?" I ask him, might I mention, with slight confusion. "I wanted to get to know you more. I don't mean to be an ass, but it's just a natural thing from my dad." He tells me while taking a sip of the wine in his glass. "I see... well, for starters, I don't really like it when people touch me. Second, I live alone my pet." I say and eat my food. "What kind of pet?" He asked with curiosity. "An owl." He looked at me dumbfounded when I said that. "Oh.. cool. So... you want to head over to my house after this? I'm not gonna do anything! Uh, just for a visit?" He asks me, he sounded nervous, but I knew it was an act. 'He really thinks I can't see through his facade?' "Sorry, but I need to head home to feed my owl, I don't want to starve him." I say. "Oh come on! It's just for one night! I promise I won't do a thing!" He said while gripping my wrist from across the table.

"Sorry to interrupt, but I need Audrey, we have an investigation we need to go to." I hear Connor's voice say, breaking my glare on Gavin. Gavin sat there, not saying anything. "Okay. Sorry Gavin, I wish I could stay and continue this dinner, but duty calls. See you in two weeks." I say and grab Connor's hand, and walk out.

3rd person

'Her hand was cold. A lower temperature than a normal hand.' He thought to himself. "Thank goodness you came to get me. I thought I would have to go home with the prick." She said with a sigh of relief. 'What is this feeling?' Connor asked himself as he watched Audrey pull out her phone. "So where is the crime scene?" She asked while looking at a text message. "At the Eden Club." He says while walking to her car that he brought. "We need to get lieutenant as well." He said and got into the car. "Alright." She said and started the car.

Connor was lost in thought while Audrey drove. He couldn't put together her past. He had no information on her, yet he had information on many other people. He didn't understand what he was feeling. 'Maybe its a human emotion... but that would mean that I have a bug. I would be returned to cyber life if they were to find out..' he thought to himself, completely forgetting the fact that he was staring at Audrey. "Are you gonna stare at me the entire ride? Or are you gonna daydream?" She said with a chuckle. Something she rarely did.

'What has gotten into me?' She thought to herself as she drove into Hank's driveway. 'Maybe this is my saviour that father told me about..' she thought to herself as she got out.

Connor knocks on Hank's door only to get no response. He goes to look through the window. He sees that Hank is unconscious, "Audrey, Lieutenant Anderson is unconscious." He says and she goes to look through the window as well. "Ah shit..." she says and bites her thumbnail.

"Step back, Audrey." Connor says and busted the window with his elbow. He then went in. Audrey waited at the window so he could pull her in. "Whoa... easy.... Sumo..." Connor says while looking at the fuzzy dog. Audrey looks and grins, "Hey Sumo~" She says and the dog looks over to her. "He's here to save your owner." She says slowly. Sumo then licks Connor and walks away.

"Thanks, Connor." She says and goes through the window. "No problem." They walk over to Hank, Connor then starts analyzing him. Audrey watches him, carefully. "Lieutenant?" Connor says and lightly pats Hank's face. Hank groans a little before settling back down. "Wake up, Lieutenant!" Connor says a little louder and then smacks Hank. "It's me Connor, and Audrey." He says.

Connor then picks Hank up and tries to walk him to his bathroom, Hank went and put up a fight. "HEY! LEAVE ME ALONE! FUCKIN ANDROID!"

"I'm gonna sober you up. This is for your own good Lieutenant." Connor says and walks him in, puts him into the tub with Hank saying, "I don't wanna bath!" Connor then turns the shower on. Hank yells for him to turn it off, Audrey just stands at the door and grins.
