Tris followed August across the courtyard, she was regretting following him already and they hadn't even done anything or gone anywhere. She realised after about ten seconds that he was taking her to his dorm, because they had only walked from the girls' dorms to the boys, which were on opposite ends of the courtyard.
"I will take you to have some fun," August said without turning to look at her, "But first I gotta find out how to get to where I wanna take you."
Tris felt a knot in her stomach at that comment, but she didn't question about the where, she felt that would be too nosy and she couldn't afford being that type of person, so she asked the how. "And how might that be?"
They stopped in front of dorm 2, room 1, August looked at her now and smiled. "Wanna meet my roommate." But he didn't ask it as a question, because straight after he said that he opened the door to two boys sitting on a couch, focused on the T.V.
One of them noticed the door had opened and saw both August and Tris standing there, "Gus mate, need your help here. Calum thinks he can beat the boss on this level but I know he can't, tell him he can't." The boy laughed but had a hint of seriousness to his tone.
August chuckled and walked over to the boys, taking a seat on the arm of the couch. "I believe you won't be able to defeat the boss dude," He looked down at 'Calum' and patted him on the shoulder, "Sorry."
Calum groaned and threw the game controller to the floor, but the other guy just laughed. "It's cause you're shit."
"Shut up Michael!" Calum picked up a pillow and threw it at the other boy, who was now in fits of laughter.
Tris watched over as all three boys laughed and acted like, well, boys. However she felt a little awkward, and really all she wanted to do was go back to her book. She cleared her throat loudly and the boys turned to look at her, August smiled and stood up, "I'm such an idiot," He chuckled and put his hand on Tris' shoulder. "Calum, Michael, this is Tris. My bus buddy."
"Hey Tris." Michael gave her a toothy grin, "I'm August's roommate so you'll probably see a lot of me." He laughed and positioned himself on the couch properly so he was comfortable, swinging one arm over the back of it.
"I'm Calum," Calum waved slightly, "I'm in the room next door, but I don't get along with my roommate so you'll probably see a bit of me too."
"Oh great, now she'll never come back." Michael rolled his eyes and pushed Calum in the shoulder, Calum just turned to glare at him.
"Why don't you get along with your roommate?" Tris asked.
Calum chuckled, "He's uh," He paused and pouted to think, before making a popping noise with his lips. "Quiet, I guess you could say. I have a feeling he's-"
August clapped his hands together loudly, Calum frowned at him for cutting him off, but August didn't notice. "Right, we came here for something boys." He walked over to his bunk, pulling a backpack from the top bunk. He pulled out a folded piece of paper, and threw the bag onto the floor. He walked back over to Tris and smiled, waving the piece of paper in front of her.
"What is it?" Tris asked.
"A map."
"A map?"
August smirked, "We're going on an adventure."

"Can we slow down? I'm tired." Tris moaned, climbing over a fallen tree trunk. They had been walking for at least fourty minutes now, and Tris still had no idea where August was taking her. She knew where she was however, when they left the dorm they headed towards the gym, and behind the gym was a path that lead onto a hiking track into the woods. People who were attending Adams State had access to it at all times, because it was built especially for the students, so they didn't get bored, not many people used it though so really it was a waste of money. But August and Tris had left the path, which they both knew they weren't allowed too, it was another stupid rule the school had made.
"You can call me Gus you know?" August called out, he was a few steps ahead of Tris and seemed determind to get to where he wanted them to go.
"I didn't know." Tris joked, but really she wasn't sure if she could call him by a nickname.
"Well now you do." Gus didn't turn to look at her, instead he kept on walking farther into the forest. He jumped over another tree trunk, however this one was a lot bigger, so when he landed on the other side Tris couldn't see him.
She sighed and grabbed onto a branch that was connected to the tree, pulling herself up. But while she tried to get her footing she slipped and fell, falling backwards onto her back. Pain shot through her body and she grabed onto the back of her head, it throbbed from hitting the hard ground. She rubbed it and looked her at the trunk, from down on the ground it looked even bigger. "August?" She called out, hoping he could hear her.
No response.
"August?"
Still no response.
Tris helped herself up off the ground, she reached for the branch again this time being more successful with pulling herself up. "August? Where the hell are you!" She yelled, positioning herself on top of the tree trunk so she her legs were hanging off the other side. But she couldn't see a single soul, August had left without her, maybe he thought she was still following behind him, maybe he would realise and come back for her.
"He isn't here." A voice called, Tris's head snapped up and she looked around her, still not seeing anyone. She jumped down from the trunk, and felt her heart beat against her ribcage. She heard something snap, and she looked up. And what she saw shocked her, a boy was sitting on a wooden plank that had been nailed to a tree.
"Where did August go?" She yelled out to the boy, but he just stared at her. "Answer me!"
The boy stood up then, Tris stood still, her eyes widened as she watched the boy swing down from the tree branch with one arm. He landed right in front of her, their faces only centimeters away from each other. His eyes were blue, but not the blue you just forget, the blue that was so bright that it burned into your memory. He also had a lip ring, small black little thing it was, he seemed to be playing with it with his tongue as he stared at Tris.
He frowned a little as he stared, "You're not allowed out here." He stated, his eyes flickering to every corner of her face.
"Neither are you." Tris snapped, which only made the boy chuckle to himself. Tris frowned and took a step backwards, "I asked you a question before."
The boy raised his eyebrow, "Did you now?" He smirked and lent up against the tree trunk, "I hate questions, don't answer them." He stuck his bottom lip out and shook his head, implying he actually didn't care to answer her question.
Tris rolled her eyes, "Whatever," She pushed past the boy and started to walk back the way she came, making sure she went around the large tree trunk this time.
"Wait!" The boy yelled, Tris turned around and frowned. He ran up to her and sighed, "He went that way." He pointed towards an open area to the right of them, "Probably to go back to the path."
"Alright well, thanks." Tris nodded and headed in the direction he had told her, but she stopped. She closed her eyes and sighed, turning around to face the boy again. "What's your name?" She asked.
He smirked, "Luke, Luke Hemmings."
