"Someone help! Anyone, please!" Tris stood just outside her dorm in the courtyard, screaming for someone to help her with the boy she was currently trying her hardest to hold up.

Calum had stopped breathing and Tris didn't know if he had just passed out or worse, dead. She had dragged him out of her room and was trying to hold him up, so someone could see he was hurt.

"He's not breathing! Someone help me!" She screamed again, and this time she saw multiple lights flick on throughout the courtyard, she must have woken some people up. Why people were asleep so early on a Friday night she had no clue, it was a Friday for god sakes.

Within a few more seconds people started to gather outside, a few slowly walking up to the two lying on the ground, some just standing by their dorms and of course there were a few screams when people realized what was actually going on.

Tris looked around at everyone in a panic, her grip on Calum becoming tighter. "Please, he's not breathing. I don't know what to do, someone help him." Tears fell from her eyes as she begged for help.

Three people came over then, two boys and a girl Tris hadn't met before, but had seen a few times. The girl knelt beside Tris and took her hand, Tris's eyes darted to the girl to see that she wasn't looking at Tris, instead she was focused on Calum. But it was a simple comforting gesture that helped, Tris figured that's what the girl was trying to do, calm her.

One of the boys held two fingers to the side of Calum's neck, and then to his wrist, the boy frowned in concern, his blonde eyebrows knitting together. "He has a pulse, but," He paused and held his fingers underneath Calum's nose, "He sure as hell isn't breathing." He said in less of a calm tone than before.

The other boy that was there with them quickly whipped out his phone, "We've gotta call someone." He said.

Tris just nodded, how the hell were these guys so calm? Tris felt like she was going to explode at any minute, and these three were acting like it was bothering them in the slightest.

Maybe they were just stronger than she was.

Within about an hour Calum had been taken to the hospital that was a two hour drive away, so obviously Tris worried. She had no clue what had happened to him, or more importantly, who did it to him. So many questions ran through her mind, it made her feel slightly dizzy.

She found out, however, that the three students who helped her were actually studying medical, so that explains why they helped out and were so calm with the situation at hand. Which gave her sercurity in some ways, you could say.

The next few day passed as most days usually did, in slow motion - time mocking everyone with the pain of having to sit in boring classes all day - Tris hadn't had much of an exciting day either, no news from whether Calum was okay or not, that made her feel a little ill but she knew if something bad happened that news couldn't get to the school any quicker. So really, it was lucky she hadn't heard anything about him yet.

Mr. Harris was rambling on about how "Art is an expression of one's soul" or whatever, Tris couldn't be bothered listening to her Art teacher's long speeches again, today was already going slow enough - she didn't need him making it feel like hell was about to swallow her whole. Thankfuly though it was her last class of the day, which made her feel as if she should listen, but of course she still didn't.

When the bell finally rang, Tris quickly gathered her things and made her way back to her dorm, she had organised with Lola to go for a quick drive to the supermarket to buy a cheap movie and some food to have a girl's night in. Lola suggested that it would be a good thing to do other than study or focus on other things, which clearly meant Calum's health. Tris agreed, she needed to get her mind off things and focus on what was around her now.

It was a short walk from Art class to her dorm, it was really only around the corner, but because of the hot sticky weather and the fact Tris was practically sleep walking, it felt like an hour's walk. She picked up her pace a little so she didn't fall down and sleep in the middle of the school, but as she turned a corner she bumped straight into someone, causing her to drop all of her things.

"Fuc- I'm so sorry." She said as she bent down to pick up her books.

There was a deep chuckle then and a hand reached out and grabbed a book up off of the ground, Tris's eyes flicked up to see Luke standing over her, a smirk crawling across his devilish lips. "Here." He said as he handed her the bright blue book, she took it from him quickly and nodded before pushing past him before anything else happened. But of course, this was Luke who she had bumped into, and he wasn't going to let her go that easy.

"Doll, wait." Luke grabbed onto her wrist and spun her around to face him, Tris looked at him through her lashes and saw that the smirk had been wiped clean off his face and was replaced with a frown, not an angry one, a sad one, he seemed concern about something. But what, she had no idea.

He let go of her gently and sighed, "Tris," He paused and all Tris could think was that he actually used her real name for once. Luke kicked at the ground and dug his hands into his pockets, whatever was on his mind was eating him up. "Tris, I don't want you to think I'm crazy." He mumbled, looking down at the floor.

Tris sighed, of course she thought he was crazy, he killed his roommate for christ sakes. But seeing him like this made her feel like even the smallest lie wouldn't hurt, if she could at least pretend that it didn't bother her maybe he might leave her alone, maybe he won't kill her too.

"Luke, I don't think you're crazy." She whispered.

Luke looked up at her then, a small smile upon his features. "Yeah?" He asked.

"Yeah."

Luke grabbed Tris then, and she wanted to scream but when she realised he was wrapping his around her to give her a hug she decided maybe screaming wasn't the best thing. His arms tightened around her tiny frame, she could feel his muscles tensing against her and that was enough to make her heart beat fast, but when she rested his chin on top of her head and whispered. "You're beautiful Doll." That felt like she was going to have a heart attack.
