The only sound that could be heard was the sound of sticks crunching beneath feet, as Tris and Luke walked into the woods. Unlike August, Luke walked beside Tris at a close distance, so close it made her heart beat in weird ways that she hadn't felt before. I'm going to have a heartattack and this 10ft baby giant is going to have to carry me back, she thought. They hadn't said a word since they left the dorm, and usually Tris was the quiet one when it came to being social but she could tell Luke wasn't really going to say much, and Tris was also curious.

"Luke where are we going?" She asked and looked up at him.

He looked down at her showing off a devilish grin and pulled his hood over his head. "Somewhere safe, doll." Tris felt shivers run down her spine at the nickname he'd called her, she wasn't a fan of pet names but when he said it, it felt different.

They weren't on the college path anymore, and it was getting colder, and the moon brighter. However in the distance Tris noticed what looked like to be a small house, made of wood. She glanced quickly at Luke to see him looking at her, "What?" She asked.

"That's where we're going," He pointed to the wooden house, "It's what I wanted to show you."

Tris ran her tongue over her lip and swallowed loudly, within those few seconds she had remembered what August had told her on the bus, about the little shack that was just outside of the college boundaries. The one where couples go, and instantly Tris stopped in her tracks wide eyed. Was Luke taking her there because he wanted something from her? Did he think she saw him that way? Sexually?

"What's wrong doll?" Luke asked concerned, noticing she had stopped walking.

Tris shook her head, fiddling with her thumbs, "You're not bringing me here to have sex with you, are you? She felt stupid asking, and even more stupid because if he was she'd have no clue what to do, because, well, she was a virgin. With a capital V.

Luke chuckled and walked up to her, placing a hand on her forearm gently. "Tris if I wanted too, you'd know." He smiled at her kindly and continued walking towards the shack. Tris felt relieved but also a little hurt, but neithertheless she followed Luke still.

There were no lights on inside the shack, it looked darker in there than outside where they were. There weren't many windows, maybe about two or three, but it didn't matter because they were either smashed or boarded up. Tris stood behind Luke and watched as he struggled a little to open the door to the shack, rattling the handle a little bit too hard. Eventually with enough force, he managed to get it open.

"It's never usually so hard." Tris heard Luke mumble, she wasn't sure what he meant by that, she guessed he must have taken someone here before. "Come on doll." Luke gestured for Tris to follow him inside

At first she was a little hesitant, because well for one, it was a abandon shack in the middle of nowhere, who in their right mind who go in something like that? It's like a scene from a horror flim, but you're standing in it. Two, it was dark and Tris was scared of being confined in small dark places. Three, she didn't really know Luke, she didn't know what he wanted to show her, hell, he could be a freaking vampire for all she knew and would turn on her at the last second. But she walked in anyways, because it was better being inside with Luke than being outside by herself.

She walked in and Luke closed the door behind her, causing her to jump a little. "What did you want to sho-"

Tris's screams filled the shack, what she saw horrified her.

There, in the right corner of the room, sitting down, was a boy. He looked about their age, his hair curly and brown. His face chubby in certain places, and in the middle of his forehead, a bullet hole. His eyes were open and glazed over, his shirt covered in his own blood.
